Possible to not take an AP exam and get your money back???

Hey guys.... I am a senior in high school who did not study at all for AP exams. I took psychology yesterday and it was a nice surprise when it seemed like a breeze.

However, I am also supposed to take macro/micro economics tomorrow and i literally know little to nothing about it. I BSd the year and got mostly As, but after looking over some stuff i realize that i am pretty much a train wreck to put it lightly. Providing that I don't take the exam (just micro... will probably give macro a shot), is it possible for me to get any sort of refund?

Any comments are much appreciated. Thanks!

For me, if I had backed out of AP Chem at the last minute I would have gotten most of the money back. But I’m homeschooled so it may be different for people in regular school.

You should probably have done this today or earlier, but it shouldn’t really matter. At my school, you can ask to be taken out of the exam, and you receive all but $13 or so back from your payment.

It’s okay. I’m taking econ tomorrow and I don’t know what I’m doing either lol.

I think you can talk to the person in charge of APs in the morning. Exams don’t start until like 8, so there’s time to talk to them. And yeah, you’d probably only get all but $13.

thanks for the replies everyone!! I’ll give it a shot tomorrow.

Wow you guys get money back?

My school wasn’t nearly that nice.
