Possible to switch colleges before registration

<p>Hi, i am currently a senior in high school who got accepted for fall 09' for UCSD, but basically i sort of procrastinated and didn't research on the six different colleges and foolishly based my choices randomly</p>

<p>Currently i got into ERC, but after reading up on it and on the other schools carefully it really doesn't look like the one for me-engineering major-and i am wondering if its possible to change colleges prior to registration. My parents and I were not really familiar with the European-styled college system (barely graduated themselves i think) so really had no guidance there. </p>

<p>Anyone know the chances of switching colleges before i make my college decisions? I am really looking forward to going to UCSD, but at this point those MMW aren't really my type of thing.</p>

<p>No, you cannot change your college until you have been a student here for at least two quarters. Even then, it is quite difficult.</p>

<p>If you can prove you can graduate earlier by switching colleges - after you have gone to ERC - you have a slight chance of changing. but don’t count on it. </p>

<p>You’ll probably like erc and decide changing isn’t worth it… your major doesn’t really matter too much.</p>
