Possible to switch in Jerome Fischer Program?

I got into Penn SEAS. I am wondering if it is possible to switch to the Jerome Fischer Program. If it is possible, what are the odds? If it is not possible, should I go to the University of Maryland: College Park (full ride)? Thanks.

bumpppp 10charr

It’s possible but not easy to do. You have to have a very high GPA. You could always apply for an individual dual degree between SEAS and Wharton. That would be easier because the GPA requirements for that process is lower, I believe.

So Penn or UMD(full ride)???

You shouldn’t matriculate at Penn with the sole intent of transferring into M&T. Last year, 5 SEAS students were able to transfer into M&T, and most had GPAs of 3.9 or higher. You definitely can’t guarantee that you’ll do so well in your first two semesters.

So should I go to Penn or UMD (with a full ride)?

Since Maryland’s engineering is more than respectable, go to the one that you’ll feel happier in. But if Penn is too much for your family than Maryland, easy.

Wait. OP. By any chance are you elaki?
