I signed up to take SAT II Bio and SAT II Math 2C, but can I take SAT II Math 1C instead of the 2C when I get there on test day?

no u need to call ahead ... go to college board and login and u will see an number to call for absences... same number lets u change tests but there is a 25 dollar fee to change

oh wow really?
so would it be better just to skip the test and lose the $9 and then re-register when I take my other SAT II test?

From the College Board website:

You can change your mind on test day about which Subject Test you want to take. You may substitute a Subject Test (other than a listening test), or add Subject Tests (other than a listening test) on test day.

I added the emphasis in bold. You can choose whichever tests you want to take, up to 3, on test day.

thanks amistad, but is there still a $20 charge for switching though? or is that just for the people who are absent and want to change a test?

There isn't a charge. When they give you the test booklet, every single SAT II subject is in it, so you can pick and choose which ones you want to take the day of the test. It doesn't matter.

Can you switch from the SAT to an SAT subject test?

Nope, you can't do that.

After I posted I went back to the College Board site and they say you can go from SAT to SAT II if you do it by the Wednesday 2 1/2 weeks before the test.

hi, i picked sat II bio, literature, and math 2, but can i cancel just literature? if so, how?

I just spoke with College Board about something else and asked them specifically: if you are registered for 2 or 3 subject tests, you can either switch the subject of any of those tests on test day at the test center, like aviatrix10 said, or drop any of them from your schedule that day: you just leave after the last test and don't take the other one(s). The only time there is an extra charge is if you want to ADD one or more tests to your schedule.

So in your case nobodyjay, you would just sit, take bio, take math, and leave after that.

what about the lit. i paid for?

you don't get your money back if you decide not to take it.
