i am registered for the February 10th ACT, but have recently found out that i got into my #1 (well the situation is a bit complicated). so i dont want to sit for a four hour test! can i get a refund or cancel my registration?

You will not get a refund except for any extras you paid for

ok, so i wont get a refund. big deal- 4hrs of my time is worth much more than $42 anways! what i'm really asking is :how: do i go about cancelling?

Call ACT Registration at (319) 337-1270. It's good of you to call because it frees your place for another kid.

One thing to consider Socks - would upping your score net you any extra merit $sss at your school? (congrats on your acceptance by the way :) ). My D was accepted at her school but retook it and got another $500 a year. If not then I agreee there is no point in redoing it.

im a presidential candidate for USC ($17k per year for 4yrs if i get it). my interview is march 6... by that date i probably wont have my new test scores yet. i got 33 the first time around so i doubt that a retake will help, but who knows? it could def pay to get bumped up to full scholarship.
