I currently attend a top 20 public university and am looking to transfer to GW, with a possible major in political science/communications/business.
I am definitely planning on rushing in the fall, but I am concerned about fitting in socially as a transfer student. I was hoping maybe someone who has transferred or is familiar on the subject can possibly give me some advice, let me know how it was for them...
And in addition, would you consider GWU a "transfer friendly" school?
Any advice or experiences would be appreciated!
Thank you!!

I transferred there and they took all my credits, so they’re transfer-friendly in that way. They also provide a lot of events for transfer students. Housing can be hit or miss for transfers: last year almost all transfers were together in a transfer-only dorm, but this year they split us between three dorms and mixed us in with the general population. It makes it harder to meet people that way.

Hi Thank you for replying! How has been your experiencing transferring overall? Has it been difficult to make friends?
