Possible Transfer to a University in Chicago

Hi All!

So I posted a while back about my process about applying to UIUC (I got in) from a no-name school more than a year ago, and long story short, this school doesn't feel like a "fit" for me either. So, I'm thinking of maybe transferring again, and this time to a school in Chicago, hopefully. Anyways, can someone chance me? Or recommend any schools that I should research? Looking to start another school by Fall 2012 (yes, I know I'm late)

My interest school is Northwestern (although I was denied out of high school)
University of Chicago is out of the question (I know that much)
Would consider going to schools surrounding Illinois

Here are my stats:
2.75 GPA (4.0 Scale)
1st semester Sophomore
From Illinois
African-American/Male
Focus area in Pre-Law/Politics & LGBT Civil Rights

ECC's for this year:
Resident Advisor for 2012-2013 school year
Campus Tour Guide
Orientation Student Leader with Dean of Students
Tau Sigma the National Honor Society for Transfer Students
National Residence Hall Honorary Member
Desk Clerk at my Undergraduate Residence Hall

Sorry UIUC isn’t working out.

I’m afraid a B- college gpa is very unlikely to be high enough for either NU or UChicago, competitive candidates will have closer to an A- average. Look for other less selective schools in the Chicago/IL area.

Yea, that’s what I was thinking. Thanks…
