Hey, I am thinking about college and where I wanna go and that's when I realized I onyl have two universities that sound good to me, but I want more choices.
MY top two are USC and NYU. I think I wanna go there because they are in big cities, ny and la, so if you have any ideas of colleges/universities that are in big cities that have a good business schools lemme know. thanks.

Pepperdine University, Malibu, Ca

Boston College, Boston
Northeastern, Boston
Washington, Seattle

all solid options

Malibu isn't really in a big city, so I don't really see how that response is useful.

UW- Seattle
USD- San Diego
UC Berkeley- Just outside of San Francisco

Just some off the top of my head out here in the west.

i'd love to go to berkely but isn't it really hard to get into if you aren't in state?
im in oregon..

USC and NYU are very very different
they are geographically on the polar ends of each other
and their campus is different
so is their campus atomosphere

if you want to go to a top business school in the city or around a city(in terms of USC)
in addition to nyu and usc there is
Georgetown University (Mcdonough)
UC Berkeley(Hass)
MIT(Sloan)

there are also economics departments that are good for business
Northwestern
University of Chicago

i can't believe no one has said wharton yet...

i dunno about MIT tho, i don't think i'm smart enough. :-(

and i doubt i can get into penn.. lol

I don't know why you picked USC and NYU only and not other schools such as your state school.,BUT....if you like USC, have you considered University of Miami?

Other considerations would be both Babson College and Bentley College, both of whom are very good for business but have a different feel. Moreover, if you have good stats, you can probably get a nice scholarship from any of these suggestions.

alright cool.
idk if any of these schools give scholarships for having full IB, but I have it. so if they do, that'd be cooll

lol NYU will not give you any money unless you are like dirt poor and smart as hell. Apply to MIT, it is a crapshot but you might get lucky

and NYU stern is not exactly easy to get into, so if you applyin there, you should apply to wharton, berkeley and schools of that nature

oh okay. sounds good. if i'm latino, will that help me at all?

and sumthing else i forgot to say,, NYU is the dream, i realize it's not easy. just throwing that out there.

w/e don't doubt yourself, i got in and like all my friends with better stats got rejected. Same thing with Ross, my friends didnt even get into the school of arts and science, but then again he got into stern, tepper and cornell. so who knows? apply and pray

word of advice, heard this before

apply for like an unpopular major like accounting since most kids put finance
this doesnt factor in anything cause u pick your major junior year

i put accounting for stern and i wrote a great essay on being a entrepeneur for Ross and put managment down as my major

so you gotta taiilor your ap for the school

Penn and Emory have great business programs (or so i hear) and they are both in big cities.

Here's a link to Businessweek's 2008 rankings:

Undergrad - BSchools

It looks like Berkeley and Fordham are other options in those 2 cities you like.

what city is penn in? or emory for that matter

University of Pennsylvania - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Emory University - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

BTW, I would also recommend SMU.

UPenn Wharton (in Philladelphia)

Northwestern
University of Chicago (both Chicago)
