i honestly have no clue what is going on any longer merely due to disorganization of posts in the wrong order hahahaha.

Lol I am almost 100% sure YKim isn't serious, why would he get that message and no one else?

haha, totally kidding you guys.

just chillll, we'll all know by monday.

dude.... ykim, you freaked me out

The SUNet ID "xxXXXX" has been reserved for you, pending sponsorship. My question is why would some people not have ids reserved while others do? Its kinda werid you know. If this is for all Stanford apps then everyone should have got the same message.

Holy ****

dude

i'm gonna kill you

like

seriously

ALRIGHT guys.

I wrote a script to check 1000 IDs between 05574XXX and 05575XXX

and they all failed.

CONCLUSIVELY:: Data has not been entered.

curiously 05569000, and its surrounding numbers all work.

"Oh crap. ^^^^^"

That means nothing. Those are probably enrolled students. Remember, we got the IDs BEFORE they read our apps, in all likelihood.

Now can we PLEASE let this rest? There is no merit to the theory at all.

i like how all our replies are out of order.

wheeee.

good lord, ykim. seriously unnecessary with hyperventilating kiddos right now!
we definitely need to stop overanalyzing this, guys. let's chill out, eat some frozen yogurt, and wait!

i wonder how that happened..

I recognize a trend, I think all the early applicants are able to log in, as in people who turned in their apps significantly before the deadline. They would probably also get lower ID numbers? Just a guess...

I would agree with you pianista except that I submitted my Stanford app like 3 days before it was due.

this is ridiculous, just look at the other post, you cannot make a stanford id, jesus christ, I would think you guys would have brains at the very least

If anyone ever needed proof of the neurotic nature of CCers....this is the forum that will prove it conclusively....I'm not going to check...nono....

ok, look, first of all, you can try a enter every elligible account id, and you wont get a response, stanford's system is operated so that you cannot activate accounts before you get the emails
oh sucks to YKim, stanford had issues with hackers before, this isnt going too well for you

and sadface, that message you get when you are given a sunet id, but not trusted enough to operate the other functions of stanford; in otherwords, sorry to let you down, but it does not gurantee admission.

@omgponies:
you are right, i tried a bunch numbers around 05579*** and all of them didn't work
and i think 05569000, and its surrounding numbers are from last year, cuz when you try them, it says "We recognize this as a University ID. We need some additional identification to verify that you are the person who owns this ID."
i also believe that this kind of respone can prove that one gets in

and it seems like that they rearrange the numbers for who gets in, since there is no way that from 05569000 to 05569500 all got in ( i didn't try all of them but i tried quiet a few and it all worked)

.....great the cc group is going to now try to hack stanford, even though I warned them not to.....
this is going to be interesting;
DISCLAIMERFOR STANFORD***
I did not, and have not attempted to login to axess or other affiliated stanford websites in order to login with another's username and password

there, I am safe

Guys calm down. Now. If what sadface is saying is true, he likely got admitted. My sunet id needed to be sponsored, aka I had to accept the offer of admission. Blah. Stop over analyzing this. One more week.
