<p>I got into Uchicago , thought I was deferred ED from Dartmouth and recently rejected from Duke RD. Is it possible I will get into other ivies ?</p>
<p>It is impossible. I’m pretty sure Congress just passed a law that makes it Illegal to get into other Ivies when all of the following conditions apply:</p>
<p>-When you get into Uchicago
-Deferred ED from Dartmouth
-Rejected from Duke RD</p>
<p>If that has happened to you… well your out of luck my friend.</p>

<p>Impossible? Of course not.</p>
<p>Likely? Not exactly. UChicago has a slightly atypical admissions process compared to other competitive schools, whereas Duke and Dartmouth tend to be a bit more streamlined in their process (though of course they can seem fickle simply by virtue of their selectivity). As you go up the selectivity ladder into HYP territory, your other rejections/deferrals don’t bode well.</p>
<p>Still, each school has its own needs and quirks that will affect who they allow into their freshman class.</p>
