Possibly a trivial question about Teacher Recommendations..

I realize that questions about teacher recs at this point of time are terribly overdue, but anyhow:

I'm an international student applying for U of C, Columbia, UPenn and Georgetown. I've got practically everything else already settled, but the problem I'm facing right now is that Columbia and Georgetown, being out of Common App, have their own systems for admissions. This poses its own problems - does this mean that I'll have to get my teacher to make three separate recommendations, 1 for U of C and UPenn through Common App, and another 1 each for Columbia and Georgetown? Given that they're unwieldy enough as it is, he's too nice of a guy for me to put through him three separate essays. Is there a way around this?

Thanks.

Teachers use the same recc for any college an individual student is applying to. That's why colleges allow teachers to either use their form or submit a letter. The letter can be "to whom it may concern." Colleges know teachers may have hundreds of reccs to write, so don't expect the teachers to write reccs individualized for their college.

Thank you, that's an immense help :)
