I took bio honors freshman year and got 2 C's(Can't believe that happened) , but I knew it was my teacher and that I was pretty decent at bio. I took bio again at my local community college through dual enrollment and got an A in the class and the lab. When I apply to college can I only report that dual enrollment biology grade since it still suffices for the bio requirement to graduate, or will I need to report all grades I've recieved? Thanks

You will have to report both. As part of the admission process colleges want a complete high school transcript listing all classes and semester grades from your four years of high school, and also a transcript from any community college you took.

When colleges ask for your transcripts, they will see all grades included in it. Is your school replacing the C’s with the A, or reporting both?

Aww darn, thanks for the response though @drusba . Well will the a at the community college sort of cover up the honors class?

@Lilliana330 My school unfortunately only replaces grades of D or F rank. Guess I’m screwed.

First off, it wasn’t your teacher, it was you. Unless there were no As or Bs in that class, it was you, and you alone.

However, it was freshman year and you later got an A in the subject at a CC. That’s a plus and freshman year mistakes are those most easily forgiven. There is no cover-up, but it’s also not a fatal wound, so don’t worry about it, just move forward.
