Post AP English Lang/Lit scores and SAT CR for comparison?

SAT CR: 800
AP Lit: 5

SAT CR - 630
AP Lang - 4

AP Lang–4
ACT reading–33

AP Lang: 5
AP Lit: 5

CR: 650
W: 640 (7 on the essay)

ACT R: 34
ACT E: 33
ACT E+W: 29 (7 on the essay)

So basically almost no correlation, at least with the collegeboard tests lol

SAT CR: 730
SAT II Lit: 710
AP Lang: 5
AP Lit: didn’t take b/c of the SAT II score. definitely a mistake.

CR: 680
W: 690
AP Lang: 4
ACT W: 34
ACT R: 28 (lolz)

I got a 5 on the exam.
720 cr on SAT
680 writing on SAT

35 cr on ACT
33 writing on ACT

5 on AP Lang
CR: 700
W: 710, 11 Essay

IMO AP Lang is a lot easier than SAT CR.

CR 770
AP Lang 5

i got 4s on both Lang and Lit
and an 800 SAT CR

haha, idk i’m pretty confident i’m a decent reader/writer from teacher feedback, i don’t need tests to tell me that. i got like an 8 on the SAT essay and i know i’m definitely a better writer than some of the people i know who got 11s and such so whatever. i’m not a fan of tests when it comes the humanities. i think the whole concept is relatively ridiculous, since i feel like standardizing and testing knowledge in english/history kind of defeats the purpose of reading/learning/researching/interpreting.

Looks like I’m among the minority here, haha!

SAT CR: 750
SAT W: 800
AP English Language: 4

AP English Language: 5
AP English Literature: 5
SAT II Literature: 730
SAT Writing: 690
SAT CR: 640 (go figure)
(Only took SAT one time. Long story.)

AP eng lang: 5
SAT reading: 770

To me, it seems like people with 750+ on critical reading should find it easy to score a 5 on AP lang.

CR 800

AP English Lang 5

Oh and SAT Writing 790. Only got a 10 on the dang essay =/

DCK7 not true…I had a 750 on the SAT Critical Reading but only got a 3 on the AP Language Test, I also had a 700 on the SAT Writing Section…

critical reading: 800
writing: 800

lit: 5
lang: 5

I think it’s hard to draw a huge correlation because the SAT Writing tests grammatical structures, which are pretty much not tested on lang or lit (to the best of my knowlege). I don’t remember Lang all too well but I think we had only one Lit question that was purely grammar-related.

Also, you have to interpret poetry for Lit which is in my opinion much more difficult than interpreting the reading passages for SAT/Lang.

Not to mention the essays–which count for a great deal on Lit and Lang. SAT essays are hard because they give you so much less time, and such a broad topic, that it can be easy to mismanage your time. I got an 11 on my essay.

SAT Critical Reading: 730
SAT Writing: 720 (11 Essay)

I didn’t bother to retake the SAT, but after reviewing the QAS, I’m positive I would have scored higher had I taken it again since I made careless errors, especially in one writing section.

AP English Language: 5
AP English Literature: 5

Cr: 660
ap: 4
