Post-AP US History question

on the APUSH exam this morning, i rocked my first two essays but then on the third i accidentally mixed two amendment numbers for the whole essay. Other than that, it was pretty decent. How much will this hurt my score for that essay?

^^ That’s a minor detail that is simply overlooked.

But a misinterpretation of the amendment in question is something else entirely.

example: If you showed in your essay that you believed that the 6th amendment allows the federal government the right to revoke your attorney… than thats completely wrong lol.

What would my score be if I forgot to not include the Kansas Nebraska but had Wilmot proviso california fugitive slave law and the Missouri compromise for that essay and I also accidentally mentioned the dredscott descison

well K-N Act was not in the time period so it wouldnt help you anyways. in my rush to finish, i called prohibition 19th and womens rights 20th, but i accurately describe their effects and dates and such so hopefully it doesnt downgrade my score too much

Out of 9 what would u predict it to be

If that’s the, “only” issue you have then it will probably be a 7-8. The reader will take it that you don’t know what you are talking about BUT since you only switched the amendments then that will save you. The reader will take it as a, “minor” error.

If the amendments were completely wrong then that’s a major error.

alright sweet that makes me feel a little better thanks

What would the score of my essay be then

Vampyfreak, use of outside information is only one of several things that essays are graded on. More important than outside information is the strength and completeness of your thesis and the level to which you support it through analysis throughout the essay.

Given the info you mention, your essay could be anywhere from a 2 (if your thesis did not adequately answer the prompt) to a 9 (if your thesis was stellar and your analysis impressive).

I did answer the prompt actually that’s why I did those 2 so like a 4 if everything else is right
