I liked the DBQ and the comparative, but not so much the COT, which I accidentally made into a comparative essay.

I think that some of you are drastically overestimating the performance required to obtain a 5. The curve really isn't too bad, and even if you missed about 12 questions and did decently on the essays, that still merits a 5. Cheer up!

thanx for the calculation!
so i predict 2 5's and a 6 on my essays, and no more than 10 wrong on the mc which would give me a 5!!! (or at least a 4 :))

Overall, I expected it to be a lot harder (especially after working out of the Ethel Wood Review Book).

Many of the kids in my class completley gave up when the time for the third essay came. Some kids did not even attempt it.

Overall - I studied one continent in great detail last night and it truly helped me on the exam (It was one of the location choices for the second essay).

I answered 64/70 and on a few that I guessed I got right.

Overall I think that I got 48 right, and 16 wrong (I am thinking realistically as I may have overlooked a few things and a few times I had to change my answer). That would mean that I gained 44 points, with a 4 point deduction.

I think I will get a 5 on the DBQ, a 6 on the COT, and a 5 on the COMP essay. Overall, I hope that it will put me in the 4 range with a weak curve and all.

Not as hard as I expected at all
thinking I'll get about 20 points for all 3 essays
Sorry, this is a dumb question, but you can do the essays out of order, right? just making sure, because I did 1 then 3 then 2.

Oh my god I am sooo happy ^^ Our teacher sucked, INCREDIBLY, this year. Like, I literally learned nothing more than what I read (no studying to help us remember or anhything). And yet I still feel confident that I got a huge majority of the MC right, and I did sooo good on those essays. Like, wrote at least 3 pages for all of them. And I had 10 minutes to spare. (I drew penguins. Roman penguin! Chinese penguin! PENGUIN WITH A HAND CRAMP FROM WRITING!)

In a way, I'm mad. It was so easy that we'll all have done relatively good and my teacher will think it was thanks to her, and then she won't change her (lack of) methods. But... hey, it was easy. I'm happy ^^

i labled the essays A B and C; they were written as A B and C in the test booklet so i hope that either 1 2 and 3 or A B and C would work for labeling.

the questions were labeled 1, 2, and 3 at the bottom next to the actual questions. a / b / c were the directions.

mc's were ok. i think i probably missed around 5 - 10. essays were pretty good i think, i just feel stupid for missing some important stuff.

ex.. the 2nd essay, i did the middle east and forgot to include mustafa and turkey. ah welps, i used all the time and wrote alot about everything else.
... and the 3rd essay i forgot to mention the encomienda system. again, i wrote a **** load about everything else so i wonder if they'd penalize me for that.

you finished 70 mc's in 30 minutes?
and its impossible to say that this was one of "the easier" exams, because only one another has been released.

What did most people write on the second essay? I wrote about secular Pan-Arab Ba'athism, but most people I know wrote about Palestine. And what about the third essay? "Processes" sounded vague to me, what did most people mention?
