<p>For CCers currently at (or alumni of) UCDavis… How would you characterize the job market after graduation? How easy or hard is it for graduates to get good jobs after graduating, especially in the social sciences? Any recommendations you can make regarding enhancing one’s prospects for getting a good job after graduation?</p>
<p>Get an internship! In fact get more than one. My d is at UCD and has a paid internship as a freshman. UCD is known for their huge internship program, one of the largest in the nation. (they place 6000 students per year) IMO internships are essential to finding employment after graduation. Look into available programs and their success rates before you choose a school.
