My post count is currently 0 (even though I’ve already made some posts) and I keep getting the “Our records show that you have never posted to our site before! Why not make your first post today and be part of our community! Ask a question, give your opinion, or just say hello in the Cafe!” message at the top of the forum. Hopefully creating this thread will up my post count 
Posting in cafes, high school life, etc. doesn’t count.
alwaysleah is correct. Most of your posts are indeed in High School Life and the CC Cafe. Still, I will agree that you shouldn’t receive a notice that you’ve never posted before…especially one that directs you to say hello in the Cafe (which doesn’t count). So, you say hello in the Cafe and then next time you get the same message telling you to say hello in the Cafe. Ha ha…we may want to update that message at some point
Why aren’t posts counted in the cafe, highschool life, etc. sections? I mean…users posted there so technically they did make a post.
I think it’s because people were trying to get their post counts up high and were just posting nonsense.
