<p>Congrats on your acceptance, sdskyle! Nobody can tell you what's right for you, but I think it's very practical to think about repaying large loans until you are in your 30's. Is the $85K debt just for undergrad?!? I guess the other question is whether Oberlin would get you into a selective college like Stanford much more easily that Texas Tech.
