I tried to post a response to a thread and I got a response saying my post has been marked for review and will appear after it has been approved. I have never seen this before. Any ideas what this is about?
Issue resolved. I think it’s because I was trying to post a link to prep scholar. I removed the link and it posted.
MODERATOR’S NOTE: Yes, there’s a new feature on the website. Any post with a filtered word (profanity or prohibited link) is put in a moderation queue for review by the moderators. Users won’t have to report as many posts in the future.
Thanks @MaineLonghorn . I find prep scholar is really useful, but it’s a blog so I guess that’s why it was flagged.
@Lindagaf, there were one or more people who constantly registered to promote that website, so that’s why we filtered it.
I just posted a question on the graduate school page and I did not put anything wrong in my question… Is there a way to see my post or is it deleted forever?
Mine was flagged the other day because I posted a link. (I must have driven the mods nuts because I tried several times to repost before noticing the “flagged for review” notice. It’s in grey on the grey border on the bottom of the page.)
After about 15 minutes, it posted normally.
They liked your persistence.

@bjkmom FYI. It’s not that it posted normally, it’s that I approved it to be posted. And yes, the posting 6 times did drive me crazy. 
@Natata There is a post of yours from 4:31 p.m. Is that the post in question, or was there a different one? The most common reasons that a post gets flagged for review is that it contains a link to a non-authoritative website like twitter or Facebook, or it contains a profanity or an acronym that if spelled out would have a profanity.
HI @skieurope ! There was one posted at around 1:30pm yesterday I believe, but it has been approved I guess! The odd thing was there were no links, only text and it was in the appropriate forum. Maybe I used a figure of speech in there without realizing that got flagged. Thanks for your help!

On the flip side, what do you get for the points you accrue for liked and helpful posts? Is there a catalog where you can pick a gift like a pop corn popper, a grand prize like a trip to disney or paid college tuition? haha
