Hello all!

I am currently a senior in high school with a solid GPA, good SATs, high class rank, etc. However, due to circumstances, I am being pushed into the position of taking a Post Graduate year at my current high school. I would attempt a Gap Year, but I simply do not have the financial means necessary to spend a semester/year abroad. Also, the course load I would have to take during my Post Graduate would not be very rigorous since I have taken every AP course/advanced course offered at my school. Seeing as this could be a problem, I would try to get into another school, but my current high school is offering me a full ride to come back as a post graduate. Anyway, basically what I am wondering is how do top colleges (Stanford, Duke, etc) would view getting an application from a Post Graduate student? Has anyone else been or known someone in a similar situation?

Thanks!!
