Post HERE if you have NOT heard yet

Only answer if you haven't heard-what other schools did u get into???

The other schools I applied to weren't as prestigious - Ohio U, Loyola Chicago, Earlham, and U of Dayton (which is where I'll go if I don't get into AU). The only school I applied to and didn't get in was Denison.

Got into Indiana-Bloomington, facutly scholarhsip, Stonehill, Bentley, Michigan, USF. Waiting on Villanova, Northeastern,NYU,American, GW. Didn't get into UCSB, USC or BU.

Still haven't heard...

So far I've gotten into Ohio U, RIT and Syracuse. Waiting on American, Northeastern and BU. :/

oneiros:
When did you hear from Denison?

has anyone gotten email/snail mail in the past few days? there are at least 5 people in my school who got emails last week or the week before. i'm nervous because i havent gotten one yet. eeeek.

Nothing here yet in NY. Its appears to be totally random, don't panic yet. I actually looked up the reps email address on their site and emailed her directly and she said they are continuously mailing them through April 1st. So hang in there.

Still waiting to hear from BU, GWU, Emerson, Emory, Rochester, Fordham, Ithaca, Drexel, and of course, AMERICAN.

Got into NYU, Ithaca, and UCONN. Still waiting to hear from American, BU, BC, Smith, Syracuse, and Emerson.

hi mnemosyne, thats awesome that you got into NYU, that has gotten to be a tuff school to get into lately. Good luck with the others, you should have no prob with syracuse most people around here use it as a safety. good luck.

Seems like there's a lot of rumor-type speculation going on. American might have an inefficient notification system, but the truth is that my dealings with other universities have been similar. UW-Madison has an irregular notification system; UW-Mad also forgot to send me an application to their honors program because "overqualified applicant's sometimes slip through the system", according to their counselors. UGA classified me as an out of state student when I had lived in Georgia for 4 years. I made 6 phone calls, sent 5 emails, and made a personal visit to the Admissions department to get it cleared up. UGA also lost a friend's application materials and only notified him when he contacted. I got into GA Tech, but they never sent me the official acceptance package. Apparently it got lost in the mail or something (yeah, right). Emory only sends confirmations of complete applications to some students. I never received one, but other's have. Emory even randomly chases some students with not so great stats to complete their applications after the deadline passes. Tulane chasing students is understandable given their unfortunate situation, but why Emory? This is a fragmented system with no standardization among schools. S*** will happen. A lot.

I heard from Denison last week...the 17th maybe?

whoa wait, NYU sent their decisions out?

yeah, about two weeks ago?

Still nothing for me on American.

NYU decisions have not all been sent out, lets keep that clear lol.

Ok, so I am getting frustrated... I live on the west coast, didn't receive an email from au and just got the 'congrats' letter a few days ago, and haven't received the acceptance packet. Is there any chance I might still get into honors or get any merit aid?

The "congrats" letter mentions if you got merit aid. At least mine did, but it didnt specify the amount.

ryan what school did you get your congrats letter from?
