<p>oh, and by the way, when i called them regarding recommendation letters (since i sent my 2nd one in one day late), the lady, who was really nice/sympathetic BTW, said "we aren't supposed to tell you this, but we don't even read the recs." and i was like .. to myself of course.. ****! because in my case, as i'm sure in a lot of appealers' cases, my recs really helped.
ah. oh well. thus far, i'm an anteater at irvine... unless i get into NYU (i was waitlisted at CAS).</p>
<p>oh PS dirtysocks, and all other appealers still waiting for their decision.. call the appelate committee's direct number: 858-534-2230 (or 858-534-4831) and ask for your decision via phone. they said they finalized ALL decisions on friday (the 27th); they just staggered the physical letters, so if you want to find out ASAP you best call them.

<p>Cal rejected my appeal (those bastards), guess ill be accepting the shared exp. program from them :[....still havent heard from UCSD I think I will be calling tomorrow</p>
