Congrats to everyone :)

Salpert, schools are sent your individual ACT scores and definitely look at them separately.

Question Mark:

MATHEMATICS 35
Pre-Algebra/Elem. Algebra 18
Algebra/Coord. Geometry 18
Plane Geometry/Trig. 18

How, if I did "perfect" in the sub-scores, did I manage a 35 on the Math section?

Just curious.

So is my consistent SAT better or ACT with amazing english/reading? BAH!

Salpert,

Maybe you should send both, showing the college that you are well rounded, yet also quite literally inclined.

can i send the scores now, or do i have to wait for the writing score to come out?

thanks.

Hm, good idea Adam. Kinda a win-win, both of my scores are solid. And good job on the math section! And that is strange, that should be a 36 =

Adam, I'm not sure why, but a few people in the June 19 ACT test date also got 18's in Math, and a 35 in Math overall.. so this may not be a mistake on the ACT's part, unfortunately :( You should definitely call the ACT people.

YEAH!! i have same question regarding the 35 math...

ENGLISH 31
MATHEMATICS 35
READING 30
SCIENCE 35

comp 33... EWWW i really wanted a 34+.. still beats my 2090 anyday. at least it is in the mid 50 ranges of my reach schools now... sigh

Hey,

So, I called about half-an-hour ago, and got an agent surprisingly quickly considering that the scores JUST came out. (About a 5 minute wait.) Anyways, the woman told me that if you miss just one question on the math, you can get perfect subscores, but you get a point off your overall score.

Rainynightstarz, you have the same score as me, except a point higher on science.

did anybody not get their scores back yet? i went in as a standby and mine havent come in yet

E 31
M 33
R 31
S 28
composite 31

even though i don't think it'll ever be possible for me to bring that science score up no matter how many times i take it, i'm pretty giddy right now :D i was finally able to raise my score up from repeated 28-29s (on practice tests)

grr my friend also had all perfect subscores and a 35.. this is soo werid... makes me wonder if they did anything wrong.. grr

English: 35
Math: 31
Reading: 27
Science: 23
Composite: 29

Do you think this score is good enough for jhu early decision...im applying to a science related major and hope the science score doesn't ruin my chances...

rainynightstarz, why do you care? if you got a 36 on the math, your comp. would be a 33.00 so it doesn't make any difference...

cJ1212...I wasn't even standby and I still can't see my scores. Anyone else can't see scores but were NOT standby???

since i am applying to enginneering, it would be better for me to have 36 so yeah...

i got 800 for SAT2 and 5 for calc bc my sophomore year ( gosh that was soo long ago), just want to have some full score for the most basic one too. cuz i got 80 for both of my PSAT and i got really mad at myself when i got a 780 for SAT1 so yeah... it is like a pride things for a nerd like myself XP

ugghh i took this as an afterthought (because im taking the Oct SAT) but i still feel somewhat disappointed

E: 34
M: 35 (freaking AP Stats degraded my math skills)
R: 36
S: 32

34.25 go figure

I'm sooooo mad!!!!

English 26(i thought 34 and this is 2 worse than first time)
Math 33 (what i thought)
Reading 34 (better than i thought)
science 24 (WDF)

Composite 29 :(

I really don't know which scores to report now!

Last June:
33C
31E
36M
31R
33S

September:
33C
33E
34M
31R
35S

I am applying as an engineering major, so Im thinking the first scores because of the perfect math section (the drop of 2 points was actually shocking to me, I expected at least a 35...which would have gotten me a 34!). However, the september sitting is a "better" 33, being a 33.25 instead of a 32.75. Please help.
