Post here when you receive your letter.

Conn coll is my safety...they are due today too.

i'm from Turkey. My other friend got rejected. :(

noxiousnirvana,
Congratulations on getting admitted!
In case you haven't figured it out yet, you can get to Poughkeepsie on the train from Albany. It takes about an hour. While the Poughkeepsie train station is only about 15 min. from Vassar, you'll have an hour trek between Williamstown and Albany. Make sure that you find some good friends with cars. ;-)

heyy...thanks. I KNOWW!!!! its awesome!!! my gf has been bantering about it yesterday...she said it takes 2 hours 10 minutes by car!!!
Im soo happy!! and thank god i didnt apply ED to Princeton ( i almost did but backed out at the last moment as i found Princeton's eating club's and overall conservativeness not to my taste)...i love WILLIAMS..im finally an Eph!

congratulations to all you internationals! :D yup, i'm the gf nnirvana was talking about ;) so thanks clayleas for that info. wasn't it great receiving that acceptance email? wow, i can't ever forget that gmail popup (ED vassar here!). :D

and to all those who are waiting for your letters, best of luck!! :D may the wait be worth it!

in! :) :) :) :)

congrats gardenstategirl! i'm so happy for you. ;)

thanks!!! i REALLY didn't think i stood a chance...I spent these last few days wondering if maybe I should have applied to an easier school, but no regrets!

yeah i was feeling the same. i was cursing myself that i applied to a school that was so hard to get in but i do not regret now and although i had prepared my RD applications and had to skip school because of that, I still feel good. :D then, we see each other next year. :)

accepted!! i never thought i'd be so happy to be a purple cow

my dad posts here sometimes as rskibum, but now that i'm in i figured i'd make myself an account

congratulations to everyone else!

congratulations shutupsteph!!! and welcome. ;)

congrats to you too!

i wish we could just go to williams now..

Congrats to shutupsteph (I remember seeing your dad's posts here!), gardenstategirl, noxiousnirvana and athene86!!!

Has anybody actually received the letter yet? everybody seems to have found out through other means. I had to call the coach and then he told me, I didn't get the letter, although they accidently sent it to my house instead of my school. (boarding school). I'm ****ed off because I want to read the letter, hearing it on the phone is slightly anti-climactic.

i received the letter today. i live in mass, so i probably got it sooner than others who live father away. mine was a big envelope (8.5x11 i think?), and i was a little confused when i first got it because i remembered hearing that even acceptance envelopes were small.

I'm not exactly new to this forum, but this is the first time I'm openly talking about applying ED to Williams. I got in!! I received the acceptance letter yesterday in a large envelope and like the previous poster, was confused since I thought all the decisions were sent in small envelopes. When I saw what was written on the folder I think I almost cried. I live in CT, and they were definitely mailed out the 14th, so yea. Good luck to everyone else.

hey welcome!! congrats!! i think you should be relieved now. :)

You have absolutely no idea, lol. Thank you.

SpookyAlien,

Congratulations. You will have an amazing time in Williamstown. I am so proud of you. I hope you have some purple cow ice cream on me :)

Aww thank you, again. If it hadn't been for you, I would have never learned about Williams in the first place!
