Post-interview Letter

I had an interview with Hamilton about a week ago. I thought it went pretty well and I felt confident during it. A few days after, I received a handwritten letter on a Hamilton card from the person I interviewed with. Today, I received a letter from the Director of Admission. She said, “I thought you might like to know that ________ (person I interviewed with) told me about your interview. He was particularly impressed by your passion for writing.”

I’m just wondering if anyone else who interviewed with Hamilton had this happen to them, too. Hamilton is my top choice and I plan on applying Early Decision.

I think this is a fairly standard practice for Hamilton. While I wouldn’t take it as a sign that your interview was off-the-charts extraordinary, it is a good indication of the kind of close-knit, friendly and supportive community that Hamilton fosters. Good luck with your ED application!
