I just had two interviews for local colleges and I was wondering what I should put in my thank-you note. One of the guys seemed like he was being a little indifferent (you know, like 'Just another desperate highschool student, let's get this over with') so I want to know if there's anything I can say to sway him.

In addition to thanking the person for their time, let the person know about any information that you got during the interview that reinforced your interest in the college. Also, if there's anything that you didn't get to mention that would demonstrate why the college should accept you, include that info in your letter. And proofread, proofread, proofread (including double checking the person's name), so the letter is letter perfect.

Just remember that it shouldn't be a long letter or anything. Make it brief and to the point of showing your appreciation, but at the same time, mention some interview highlights (ex. "I really enjoyed talking to you about ______, and...")
