when are we officially allowed to discuss the test?

Picayune's meaning's here for those who haven't found it out yet. http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=picayune You know, the strange thing about that was that I'd been using that word a lot in the past few months since discovering it on quotationspage.com, so that was a bit of good fortune. I think I'm heading for yet another 800 CR & 800 Writing and yet another non 800 math; bit disappointed about that. I know I made 2 mistakes, can only hope those were in the experimental section. so hopefully 750+ (my major aim is to beat my twin who got a 2360 in december) :)

amazing k_twing. amazing

Oh, my experimental section was writing.

Btw k_twin, there are multiple experimental sections. A few with CR, a few with math, and a few with writing. So just think of the section (CR/M/W) that had an extra component - one of them won't count.

i thought that was moribund..
picayune... i had no idea what that word meant

Thanks skywalker, I had a gigantic mind-block on the polygon sum, when a friend of mine explained it after the test, I felt like banging my head on a wall, luckily didn't do so (or unluckily depending..)

wat do u guys mean by experimental section

is it true that one of the sections won't count? if so, do they just arbitrarily select a section?

I said "120" for the slope grid-in
I think I did bad on the essay. I said yes, and talked about scienctific discoveries in the tweentieth century. How do they grade it?

Was it 9 sides?
and I got 120, too.

yup... even i got 120 on the slope grid-in..
k_twin explain to me that polygon sum... is the answer 8?? coz i got a 8..
what bout that that length of 2 semicircles questions and the water depth one...

9-sides, 18 for the water one. 700 for the compensation

Water depth is decrease by 180 because it went from 500->320~. If I read it wrong, I could've easily gotten that one wrong. Two semicircles I think 12pie?

Did you get...2000 for one of them? I think?

do u guys remember the answer to the question right before the picayune one?

I got : 2 semicircles = 12pie
700 for compensation
18 for water one
I guessed 8 for the Polygon sum but I had 0 idea.
120 for the slope grid-in (the one about t)
6.4 for the box perimeter grid-in
89 for the remainder grid-in
123 for the 55 < x < 60 (Any others on how to do?)

Yeah, I got 2000 for one of the grid-ins

no, the 2000 one wanted the compensation amount, not the total number of sales i think. In which case it would be .2*2000+300=700. There might have been 2000 for another though, I can't remember.

I got 6.5 for the box perimeter, or 13/2

Wasn't the water one 180? not 18?

wasn't the perimeter 6.5?

I said pejorative, but it was cathartic. Hopefully, that will be my only vocab. wrong.

the graph was 18, the exponential one was decrease by 180.
