Post November 2010 SAT II US History results here!

I'd really like a 700+. Preferably at least 750+.
Good luck to everyone.

A few more hours...!

I’d be happy with anything above 700

I’m more excited to see my USH score than my Math II score lol

I’m kinda disappointed with my 770

Yay a 760…

710

I’m happy

730 stupid score :(

730, was hoping for a 750+

780 - way better than I thought I did. I’m going to have to go high five my APUSH teacher.

780!! Certainly a jump from the 660 I got last month :)

710…
Ahhh. At least I hit 700. I wanted a little more, but I guess this will have to do.

Mastablasta- how did you get your score up? My D’s score is rather sad, even though she’s an A student. All I can figure is what they tested is different from what she learned.

It’s ridiculous seeing comments like “oh no, I only got a 770” when another girl in my class got a 490 on this same test… (no, that was not a typo)

710 after 3 weeks of cramming. I didn’t know anything before. I’m happy.

Hello everyone once again (long absence from collegeconfidential)

First score on sat ii us: 640

This time, I got a 740 (: Done!

Now, studying for Biology, which I haven’t touched in 2 years. lmao. (sort of bored and wanted to learn some new stuff again/ scored 650 first time, but never retook biology)

Congrats to everyone for their wonderful scores :D

if anyone needs advice on how to raise us history, im always willing to help xP

Classical: The secret is Sparknotes  I went through the entire test bank and book review on Sparknotes, and I was so much better prepared than before, where I used the Princeton Review (too easy) and most of the REA (too hard).

Just a word of advice to people using Sparknotes for the online tests: if you use JUST the tests, then don’t expect to do so well. Sparknotes makes their tests based off of their books with the same wording and everything. If you ask me, the tests are good for reviewing as they’re harder than the actual subject test, but they’re not an accurate representation.

The texts dedicated to the subject test aren’t that good from what I’ve experienced. I got a 680 using PR’s book but when I transitioned to PR’s APUSH text, I got an 800.

Use the APUSH AMSCO book. Got me a 5 on the AP exam and a 790 on the SAT II.

On a practice AP exam we took at school, I remember I only missed like 7 questions on the multiple choice portion after working through the AMSCO. Teacher was going nuts over it, lol.
