I was honestly surprised that UCSC rejected me. They also rejected my friend who had a higher GPA than I did with similar test scores and NO EC’s or volunteer hours.
Judging from this, it seems like they may be releasing acceptances by GPA. Doesn’t mean we got rejected just that we might get it later. I’m guessing the first waves were for 4.0+ UC gpa and the next one will be for less than 4.0. Am i on to something?

I’m hoping you’re right. UCI and UCSB are my only hope as of now.
UC GPA: 3.2ish~3.3

Does anyone think there are still more acceptances to come? Because I’m losing hope as the minute passes.

@ g3tb0mbed I think you might be on to something. Someone on here, I think it was on like Thursday or Friday, posted that the honors students get their acceptances before everyone else, then the 4.0 GPA students get theirs, and then the people with lower stats get them last.

@IWillGetIn

There’s still definitely a lot more acceptances. =3 Quite a few people got accepted today, yesterday night as well.

I don’t think we need to worry much until the 23rd, the last weekend before they are done notifying people.

@IWillGetIn Not looking too great bud :confused: 3.2 UC GPA and 26…
