Post your 2007 AP scores here...

Meh. I did OK

Calc BC: 5 (AB subscore 5)
Chemistry: 5
USH:4 <-- was expecting 5, i guess i guessed too much...
Eng Lang: 3 <-- no one ever does good on this test, i only studied the night before since chem was much more important.

This makes me an AP Scholar with Distinction. Does this matter at all on college apps?

I got the scores I expected for all my tests except USH (5) and English Language (5)...I was expecting 4 in USH and 3 in English Language. I was risking money with my English Language test. (my score - friend's score) * some number = money owed. We both got 5s, so whatever. Haha, looks like I'm not taking AP Lit. Score. USH is just pleasant surprise :)

I'm a sophmore, this year my only AP taken (the only one the school allows - sinful) was AP World History. I really wanted a 5 but I was expecting a 4 and be dissapointed...but I actually got a 5!

I kind of didn't want to brag but I already changed my myspace title to ___ (got a 5 on the AP). I hope tons of my friends see that and get saddened lol.

Grade cancellation deletes an AP Exam grade permanently from your records. Grades may be canceled at any time. However, for grades not to appear on the current year's grade report, AP services must receive a signed letter requesting cancellation by June 15. While there is no fee for this service, your exam fee is not refunded. The grade report that you and your school receive will indicate that the grade has been canceled.

I think this means that your high school won't even get it if you cancel right away.

I'm pretty sure that this means that your colleges can't see these scores. I had one student in the past cancel his score, but I still know that he got a 3. :)

English Literature - 5
Physics C: Mechanics - 5
Physics C: Electricity & Magnetism - 5
Calculus BC - 5 (Calculus AB subgrade - 5)
US History - 5
Microeconomics - 5
Macroeconomics - 5

just wondering, does the calc ab subgrade count as a separate ap grade, cuz i took ab last year.

i'm a rising senior, and that'd make a difference for me, since i'm in the running for ap state scholar (rhode island isn't much of a state for competition)

Sophmore Year
World History-5

Junior Year
US History-5
Biology-5

Did anyone else get a 5 on the Bio exam without knowing the crazy circle question (#4) about DNA technology? I had no clue what to write for it and took an educated guess...I was like positve that I gotta 4 bc of that question.

Did anyone take the Comp Sci AB exam? Is that course offered at any of your high schools?

Check if the schools you are going to accept CLEP credits. If your AP score does not quite give you the credit try taking the CLEP for the course if offered. They are a bit easier the pass score is 50 (out of 80) and you get the grade as soon as you complete the exam. It is worth the $60 gamble. My son CLEPped 15 credits. He never even took US History 1 and from "my prospective" the amount of self study he did was minimal. He clepped out of English Comp and Lit with no studying AFAIK.

US History-4
English Lang- 4
English Lit- 4
US Gov't-4
Spanish not avaliable yet... of course. that was the only one i was worried about, but that's my life, haha.

Subscores don't count (i.e., the AB on a BC Calc wexam). This was posted on one of the AP threads yesterday.

i didn't know the circle part of the question. I knew the rest of the question though. That was one of the things my teacher didn't feel great about, so had a study session the saturday before the exam for anyone who wanted it to go over stuff she had feelings would come up on the examthat we hadn't covered in depth. MC=easy, FR1,3,4(b,c,d)=Easy, FR2,4(a)=shi_t

Sophomore Year:
APUSH:

Junior Year:
AP Bio: 5
AP Art Hist: 4

Senior Year:
AP Calculus BC: 5
AP Chemistry: 4
AP English Literature: 4
AP Physics B: 4
AP Spanish: 4

My brother called to get his AP scores but they didn't have his AP U.S. score (although he took all three of his exams on time). Will they be available by phone before we get them in the mail?

possibly but you will have to pay again.

Previous: AP Histories:5s, AP Englishes: 3s, AP Chemistry: 5
Senior Year: AP Calc BC: 4, AB Subscore: 4
Can't believe I passed Calc. :D

Yea, but I think if you talk to the customer service people, you can get that score without having to pay again (I was able to do that :D).

I Got A 5 On Spanish!!!!

Am I the only one who thought about VD while reading this post?

US History: 4
Psychology: 4
English Lang: 5

Really, really happy, especially considering I got a 3 on my first AP exam (World History) the year before.
