It seems like most people who post here received 5s on their APUSH exams. To those who did, did you think you were going to get a 5? Did you prepare or study for the exam? I'm asking because I took the APUSH exam, but I'm waiting until the scores come in the mail, and I'm really nervous!

Calculus BC- 5
Microeconomics- 5
Macroeconomics- 4
Psychology- 4
Comparative Politics- 4
U.S. Government- 4
English Language- 4

I was EXTREMELY shocked and delighted by these scores! I knew my two 5's would come, but beyond that I had NO idea the others would be so good. I did not study at all for Comp. Politics, and only did for a little for U.S. Government and Lang. Those three classes I only had first semester too, so it wasn't like the info was fresh in my brain, but obviously it came out good! And I even wrote about obscure topics on one of my English essays about the advertising implications of Nevermind by Nirvana!

Calc AB-5
Psych-5
U.S. History-5

Physics...............................
..................3

man.....i was hoping for a 4 for physics. darn.
would a 3 really hurt me for hyps???!?!!?

APUSH- 4
English Lit-4

I'm really happy about my grades..I know on here it's like failing, but for my first time I think I did pretty good..Um Olive_Tree, I did not study that much for Lit & APUSH I just took the May SAT II which was like a review the week before. Um, I also took like 2 of those Sparknotes.com tests for APUSH and I think one for Lit and that was it. Other than the review in class, that was it

oh and the only reason I called for my scores is that I won't be back home until Aug. 4 & I can't rely on my mom not to accidentally throw it away, lol

bebegrl976, what did u get on your us history SATII??
i got a FIVE on apush and a 690 on SAT II....oh the irony. maybe cb scored my SAT II wrong?

***. i got a 730 on my SAT II..and a 690 on Lit

what do colleges weigh more..SAT II or AP's?

Decided just now to actually check the grades, as I discovered it would be a good idea for course selection...

Biology - 5
Chemistry - 5
Calculus BC - 5
Physics B - 5
English Lit - 5
French - 4

Exactly what I was hoping for, I survived that week and a half of hell!

AP Lang- 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that's all that matters.... but here's the others haha
AP French-2!!!!!!!!! (better than I thought!)
AP Gov-3!!!!!!!! (did NOT expect to pass)
AP Calc-4!!!!!!! (FR was all wrong- i have no idea how I managed this)

So basically I was happy with every score - yessssssssss!

perpetualmotion---

The EXACT same thing happened to me. A 5 on APUSH followed by a 690 during the June test date. This was really ironic considering that I scored a 770 on the Bio-E SAT II after only taking Bio Honors a year and a half prior to the SAT test.

I swear the MC on the SAT II is way harder than AP for USH.

AP Stats-4

if u got a 690 on SAT IIs and a 5 on APUSH, im pretty confident that i'll get a 3 or 4, because i got a 680 on mine

Maybe There's Hope For Bio!

Olive Tree, I only really studied for the exam the two nights before with a review book. I only read one chapter of our text book all year and never studied for the tests. Heck, I have a B- in the class for the year. I'm sure my teacher, as I was, will be quite shocked to hear my score.

AP tests I've taken:

US History 4
Calculus AB 5
Psychology 5
English Lit/Comp 3 (dang you!)

My AP
European History 4 (sophmore year)
United States History 4 (Junior year)
English Language/Composition 4 (Junior year)
Human Geography 2 (Junior year - expected this)

Senior year
U.S. Government and Politics
Macroeconomics
English Literature and Composition
French Language
Environmental Science
possibly statistics

Sophomore year:

AP Computer Science A - 5

Junior Year:

AP Computer Science AB - 5

I know I know, two tests with fives isn't a big deal. Still, I'm pretty happy about it.

That's right. May - 5. June - 750. (It was my lowest SAT 2!!)

Wow you guys are lucky to have found out your grades already. I don't think it's worth for me to spend 8 bucks on a phone call for only one grade (APBio). I took the satII in it though and got a 780 so I'm hoping the AP test was just as good haha. When do you usually get the scores in the mail?

no, just wait a few days and they should come in the mail

Don't worry about calling for them... I did that last year, and I would up getting them in the mail three hours later. Waste of $8.

Mine for this year:
Stats- 5
German- 5
Euro- 5
English Lit- 5
Bio- 4 (glad I passed... for FR on the cephalization question and the weird plasmid question I had barely any idea what I was talking about, so I drew random pictures and made stuff up).
