Post your 2007 AP scores here...

Just got them here in southwestern Ohio, and I got exactly what I thought coming out of the test room/building:
US History: 5
Biology: 5
Spanish Language (A BEAST of a test this year): 4

I screwed up this year, just like last year.
Last year:
AP English III-3 (not a native speaker, lucky that I passed it!)
US History-4 (I had to memorize 2nd semester stuff in ~2 weeks, teacher had a shoulder injury. nothing but playing different games in the class for a whole semester)

This year:
US Gov't: 4 (my teacher wasn't really up to it. PS, I took it in fall semester, and the AP Exam wasn't till the end of the year)
Macro: 4 (had one night to study before the exam, teacher wasn't up to it)
Calc AB & BC: 5
Chemistry: 5

I guess I need to work hard in college.

Austin, which AP English did you take? Lang. or Lit.?

Why do people feel like they need to make excuses for 4's??

Language.
Oh man, I still remember that pink flamingo essay--it owned me on the exam. As I was reading the passage, I was like 'what in the world?'
lol

have you taken the exam too (lang or lit)?

I took both. Last year, I took Lang., so I also had to write that essay. I also got a 3 on that exam.

English Lang-3
US History-3

I kinda expected the 3 on the history, but I walked out of that English exam feeling very confident....hmmm

Well, at least I passed, I suppose. Do you think the English Lang curve was harsh?

Also, should I report my AP scores when applying to schools?
(I'm applying to the likes of Notre Dame and Wake Forest; ergo, serious competition!! >.<)
Is it fishy not to report them?

I missed the whole point of that Flamingo essay last year, lol. I still laugh about it up until this day.

Silveronthetreee, I don't think the Language curve was hard at all this year. I spoke to my mom tonight who's at the AP conference right now in Las Vegas and she said that they said that the Lang exam saw an overall increase in the amount of students who passed.

The new Lang exam, that is.

AP ENGLISH LANG - 4 !!! haha thought i wouldn't pass.

Has anybody else compared their predictions to their actual scores? I just went back and found my predictions and it was pretty surprising:

Predictions:

Computer Science A - 4
US History - 4
Psychology - 5
English Lang - 4
Art History - 4

Actual: All fives.

^^ Here's mine!

Predictions:
US Government: 4
Calculus BC: 2 AB subscore: 3
Macroeconomics: 3

Actual:
US Government: 4
Calculus BC: 3 AB subscore: 2 (wow, that's a mix)
Macroeconomics: 4

sweet!

*Note: I only have 2 'cause I was a sophomore and administration didn't allow more. I'll take way more next year.

Predicted-
World History: 3
Spanish Language: 4

Actual-
World History: 5
Spanish Language: 5

I guess this just shows Im paranoid. :)

haha i remember the flamingoes too. such a random essay

Eng Lang - 4
US History - 4

I wish I had done better on the English one (well, I wish I had done better on both, but more the English one), because I worked very hard in that class. I should have done the rhetorical analysis essay, then the argument, then the synthesis, because the synthesis is my weakest one and I spent too much time on it, which damaged all the others. I know a 4 isn't bad, but I was hoping for a 5. As for USH... my teacher did NOT teach it as an AP class. I could have taken it freshman year and have done just as well (in the class, not on the AP test). I don't mean to be putting all the blame on my teacher--I didn't study as much as I should have and didn't do enough outside prep--but I just wonder how I would have done if I had a different APUSH teacher last year...

What's this about flamingos?

Calculus BC - 5
Physics C Mechanics - 4

I got my scores yesterday:

APUSH: 4 really disappointed wanted a 5 but would I still get credited at a competitive school such as Stanford?

Biology: 5

English Language Comp: 4 really proud since I'm not even an English person adn its my worst subject.

For kicks...

US Hist - 5
Physics B - 5
Language and Composition - 5

Computer Science AB - 1

WHAT THE HELL?

Us History- 4

I guess thats pretty good, I definitely studied hard to enough to deserve it.
