Post your 2010-2011 PSAT scores here

@columbia, tbh I didn’t study at all except for maybe 1 practice test the night before the actual PSAT. I was quite amazed by my considerable improvement as well and my biology teacher said that one academic year can make a huge difference even without any studying. Hopefully the same will hold true for you as well, although I would still reccomend studying if you want to see substantial gains. Don’t worry about it because your scores don’t count for anything until junior year. Good luck.

Btw, 194 is still extremely impressive especially as a freshman. Last year, with my 194, I had the third highest score out of my ENTIRE school (freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors). I’m not sure if that was because my school sucks or because 194 is really good, though.

220.
I really really really hope that Maryland’s cutoff stays the same.

240 Yea, I’m cool like that.

Sophomore, 183.
CR: 63
M: 53
W: 67
I know I should feel bad because according to CC standards I did… ehh… but I’m actually pretty content with how I did.

We don’t get them until the 20th -____________-. Of January.

-feels like he female dogg’d about this on another thread-

It’s because your school sucks, lol.

Junior, 237. 77 CR. Made a stupid vocab mistake that I could instantly see when I looked at the question. darn

At least I beat one of my 2400 friends, though. (He got a 71 on writing)

^^lol, I was leaning towards that possibility. I have the highest score in my school (224) this year by a pretty wide margin, too. Well, I guess I can’t expect much, as my school scores BELOW the national SAT average.

I’d anticipate a 194 falls around the 95th percentile for college-bound Juniors. A 194 is very good.

How many of these are there…?

Sophomore:
M:800
CR:800
W:750

^ PSAT sections are out of 80, not 800…=_=

Sowwy about that. I can’t edit though. :(

I could’ve had that if I didnt suck at CR XD

Looking at this thread makes me feel really dumb. I scored 176 sophomore year and 200 junior year (which missed commended by one point).

^ Oh well, you at Dartmouth now brah.

I got 240.

lawl I got like 185 as a junior. I didn’t study or even know about the national merit scholar and all that jazz

I did *ty as *,

sophomore,

69 in CR (99th percentile…***???)
64 in M (95th percentile, :((( I made 11 dumb mistakes…why???)
43 in WR, <<<Fail!!

Junior, failed hard lol.
CR:65
M:64
WR:68
Only good excuse I have is hadnt had a class on math or english in 9 months lol.

Junior: 225
CR 80
M 70
W 75

I did way better sophomore year (238) … but I still made NMSF cutoff, so I really can’t complain.
