Post your AP scores!!! 2009

I’d say give it one more week. The scores should reach you before July ends. Any later than the end of this month and I would contact The College Board.

10: World - 4

11: US Hist - 5
Stats - 5

12: Calc BC - 5/5
ComSci A - 5
English Lit - 5 (So surprised)

LOL I did better than I expected on most!

Just saw my scores 5 minutes a go!

Ahhhhh! So happy!

10)
World History: 4

11)
Art Hist (self): 4 did not expect this! I thought I’d gotten a 2…almost canceled this one.
European Hist (self): 5 kinda expected this
US History: 3 but it’s fine…kinda expected this one
Psychology: 4 I thought I got a 5, but it’s fine!
English Language and Composition (self): 4 Ecstatic on this one!

Just wanted to say, people at my school tried to discourage me, because they thought I wasn’t smart enough to take 5 tests let alone self-study for three on my own. But for most of these I studied my butt off with Barron’s and Princeton Review! Even if some were crammed last minute (more like last few weeks). Just wanted to say don’t ever get discouraged! Just do your best and don’t listen to negative comments! You know yourself better than others know you…unless you’re delusional… but you’re probably not!

I think I did pretty well with an average of 4. Although, I guess, most cc people get an average of 5!

5 on Language and Composition - raise the rufus! Thought I’d never get there as I had a horrible teacher and noooo curriculum to go off of.
Studied from Five Steps to a 5…it got me that 5!

This year’s results:

World History -5
Spanish Lang - 5
Bio - 5
Lang - 4
Physics Mech - 4
Physics E/M - 5
Comp Sci AB -5

Two questions I need help with guys:

1.) How/when does someone get AP national scholar (I have taken a total of 9 AP’s)? Is there some sort of formal application process?

2.) Is it possible to retake an AP? I was very sad to find out I got 4’ on lang and mechanics, as I really liked those subjects, plus some colleges don’t accept 4’s. I’m going to be a senior next year, so could I retake?

Thanks in advance for your help guys =)

@RishiPatticus:

1) No formal application. You will be automatically qualified, which, from the looks of your scores, is in the bag for you. The certificate will come in October.

2) I’m 99% sure you can retake.

^ National AP Scholar: Grated to students in the US who receive an average grade of at least 4 on all AP exams taken, and grades of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams.
(PS. Scholar awards are listed on the back of your score report)

Looks like you got it  Congratulations!

It is possible to retake, although all of your scores would still be listed. As for cancelling any scores, I’m not sure if it’s possible after a set period of time. The College Board will have information on this on their website though.

i live in california and i still haven’t received mine. what states haven’t received theirs yet?

yea i havent either im from CA

i live in texas and i still havent got mine

I called back in June, but I have not received my scores by mail.

Some people in California haven’t gotten their’s yet? That’s very strange. I didn’t get mine until 3 days after a lot of people said Nor Cal’s scores came in, but it’s been nearly 2 weeks…
