<p>How do you take a picture of the stars? I’ve used the telescope to take pictures of the moon but the stars are too difficult. Do you need a high quality camera?</p>

<p>I don’t have anything recent because my art has taken a nosedive within the past 2 months. I’ll post some work anyway.</p>

<p>Are you talking about the photo where the stars are going in a big circular formation?</p>

<p>No, just the photo of the stars. </p>

<p>I’ve tried to do long exposure shots of the stars also, and it just doesn’t work.</p>

<p>For the photo of just the star clusters, I used my telephoto lens (Canon 70-200mm f/4). It was a 3 second exposure at f/4, ISO 400.</p>

<p>Josh/rebel, hmmmmm - neither of those sites ring a bell - I guess it will remain a mystery to me! Anyhow, I think you should seriously consider submitting an entry into the On the Go theme for the next issue. JPG has a soft heart for young submitters, and I’d at least expect you’d make it to ‘hot photos’. There is also a competition going on right now at Photoshelter (a stock photo site) for students (high schoolers included altho they specify college-aged), that I think your work would be a good match for as well.</p>
