~Post Your Entire College List~

My daughter and I have really learned a lot from these boards (and will be learning more as she decides over the next month). Here are her results:

USC - Accepted
Wake Forest - Accepted
UCSB - Accepted, Regent's Scholar
Wheaton (IL) - Accepted
University of Redlands - Accepted (half-tuition scholarship)
Sewanee - Accepted (half-tuition scholarship)
Biola - Accepted

Elon - Waitlisted

Williams - Pending (not expecting to get in, but you never know)
Chapman - Pending

It's interesting how random the process can be, getting in to some very selective schools but waitlisted by a less selective school.

She applied to a variety of colleges for different contingenices -- some closer to home (in CA), some within hours of family (in NC/TN), a couple she just thought looked interesting or a good match (i.e., Wheaton in IL). We're still waiting for financial packets from most schools, should they be here by the first week of April?! We need to decide whether to invest $ in visiting a couple campuses out of state and make those trips ASAP.

Then the hard part, deciding what we can actually swing financially. (We're a family of 6 but the EFC came out to be $19,000...eeeek! I love that Redlands says the EFC isn't "realistic" and offers more grant $ than many schools.)

Best wishes and good luck to all.
