Post your failing AP scores!

I got a 3 on AP english lang last year. Im expecting a 2 or 3 on AP art history late score as well. My teacher was awful, out of the kids I know of who got their regular scores for Art back:
0 5's
1 4
2 3's
4 2's

I guarantee you nobody else in the class did better because I asked the smartest kids! I tied for the highest grade in the class but I wouldnt be surprised if I got a 2 or a 3, we were just that unprepared. A 3 is like failing an AP test at my school.

i love this thread..

LATIN VERGIL- 2

woooo too bad it's the second/third highest score in the class haha....

wow..whats the First / Second Highest scores then?

got a 2 in European History and a 2 in US history last year
the funny thing is I actually love history and yet I failed the tests

I have to prepare myself for the history AP exams those essay formats are tricky...!

well some people have to get 1's and 2's for others to get 4's and 5's so just think you helped the other people out by making it easier for them to get higher grades. Good job.

a 1 on physics b
i am expecting the class average to be a 1 or 2 and i bet no one gets higher than a 3

2 on English Language/Composition

Woohoo was expecting a 1 !

5 in Calc too! woohoo...

2 on apush!! horrible essays

2 on lang/comp

Whatever, man. No hablo ingles here.

2 in Calc AB... 3 in English Lit... 2 U.S. History

2 on apush, my essays really sucked.

i got a 2 on euro, and boy does it suck to be me. Ten minutes before the test is over i realize that i had written an entire essay comparing the works of the renaissance to the ninteenth century using the 1900s on accident! I am a good writer, but suck at euro, so i could have pulled a 3, maybe will try again and hope for better essays. BUT, ITS ONLY A TEST, REMEMBER THAT, and ap is only there to help you, not hurt your chances. Coincidently, i am probably ranked third in my class (i kno, but i suck at euro) and the kid above me also got a 2. But yet dumb people got 3's, and here i see everyone getting 5's. O well

Here's my AP report card:

Collegeboard AP(TM)

06 US HISTORY 5
(Ok great!!! good job!!! :) pats self on back)
06 FRENCH LANG 2
(ewwwww....that sucks)

I got a 3 on Psych - supposedly the easiest AP of them all. Hehe.

3 isn't failing. A 2 or below is failing.

I figured out the rationale behind this. See the 1-5 scale is actually a 4.0 scale in disguise, and it's weighted so that:

5=4.0=A
4=3.0=B
3=2.0=C
2=1.0=D
1=0.0=F

And since most colleges don't grant credit for grades below a C-, a 2 and 1 are tantamount to failing grades.

Nice hypothesis if you ask me.

Yeah, I think that's what CB was thinking in the first place... sorry to burst your bubble.

And I realize that a 3 isn't a failing grade, but by CC's standards... I think it's an exception.

You can't get credit for a 3 at most colleges

most colleges do accept 3's
