well that'll give me an edge for med school, being a WRITER, right? or maybe it makes the med sch app just as effective to have writing ecs replacing an english minor if i can't stand english at all?

The English minor is still heavily "old English lit" based - just look at 2/3 of its requirements.

Advice? I think... you should take it one step at a time right now to try things out and figure out what you like and don't like in regards to ECs and your academics.

and if you have time, i do have unanswered questions from last week in the "UCLA 2011" page. thanks for helping me out! ;)

Well,

this is highly relevant to the thread -- so yeah -

So this may be sort of OT, but here's how it goes

When I was 4, I wanted to be a vampire
When I was 9, I wanted to be a Pokemon master
When I was 12, I wanted to be a doctor
When I was 16, I wanted to be a pharmacist
When I was 18, I wanted to be a chemical engineer.

Now? NO ****ING CLUE.
I don't even know my major anymore.

So don't plan out things so much, life changes.

Vampire, how cute!

When I was 4 ... I don't even remember being 4
When I was 9, I wanted to be a doctor
When I was 12, I wanted to be a doctor
When I was 16, I wanted to be an artist
When I was 18, I wanted to do something with computer science
When I was 20, I wanted to do something with economics/accounting

Now? Economics and Accounting.

Amen to not planning too much, life changes.

you were a cute 9 year old. haha

Yeah, the pokemon master was cute too!

When I was 4, I wanted to be an ice cream man
When I was 9, I wanted to be an artist
When I was 12, I wanted to be an artist
When I was 16, I wanted to be a doctor
When I was 18, I wanted to be a wandering Bohemian

...not so certain right now. I'll just prolong the process by going to graduate school.

When I was 4, I wanted to be a street fighter
When I was 9, I wanted to be a Pokemon master
When I was 12, I wanted to be a pornographer/rich web designer/go player
When I was 16, I wanted to be a pornographer/doctor/wandering swordsman
When I was 18, I wanted to be a pornographer/consultant
