<p>Dirty Little Secret
By: The All-American Rejects</p>

<p>I can't get it out of my head and it has been there for 2 months... lol</p>

<p>Let me know that I've done wrong
When I've known this all along
I go around a time or two
Just to waste my time with you</p>

<p>Tell me all that you've thrown away
Find out games you don't wanna play
You are the only one that needs to know</p>

<p>I'll keep you my dirty little secret
(Dirty little secret)
Don't tell anyone or you'll be just another regret
(Just another regret, hope that you can keep it)
My dirty little secret</p>

<p>Who has to know
When we live such fragile lives
It's the best way we survive
I go around a time or two
Just to waste my time with you</p>

<p>Tell me all that you've thrown away
Find out games you don't wanna play
You are the only one that needs to know</p>

<p>I'll keep you my dirty little secret
(Dirty little secret)
Don't tell anyone or you'll be just another regret
(Just another regret, hope that you can keep it)
My dirty little secret</p>

<p>Who has to know
The way she feels inside (inside)
Those thoughts I can't deny (deny)
These sleeping dogs won't lie (won't lie)
And all I've tried to hide
It’s eating me apart
Trace this line back</p>

<p>I'll keep you my dirty little secret
(Dirty little secret)
Don't tell anyone or you'll be just another regret
(Just another regret)</p>

<p>I'll keep you my dirty little secret
(Dirty little secret)
Don't tell anyone or you'll be just another regret
(Just another regret, hope that you can keep it)
My dirty little secret
Dirty little secret
Dirty little secret</p>

<p>Who has to know
Who has to know</p>

Then I needed to determine what my favorite Sonata Arctica lyrics were, and it was nearly impossible because they're all so good. I ended up going with "Don't Say A Word":

good choice :)
The more I listen to the whole Reckoning Night album... the more I love it.</p>

<p>Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm
Into this house we’re born
Into this world we’re thrown
Like a dog without a bone
An actor out on loan
Riders on the storm</p>

<p>There’s a killer on the road
His brain is squirmin’ like a toad
Take a long holiday
Let your children play
If ya give this man a ride
Sweet memory will die
Killer on the road, yeah</p>

<p>Girl ya gotta love your man
Girl ya gotta love your man
Take him by the hand
Make him understand
The world on you depends
Our life will never end
Gotta love your man, yeah</p>

<p>Wow!</p>

<p>Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm
Into this house we’re born
Into this world we’re thrown
Like a dog without a bone
An actor out alone
Riders on the storm</p>

<p>Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm
Riders on the storm</p>

<p>"Such Great Heights" ~Postal Service</p>

<p>I was thinking it's a sign
That the freckles in our eyes
Are mirror images and when we kiss
They're perfectly aligned
And I have to speculate
That God himself did make us
Into corresponding shapes
Like puzzle pieces from the clay
And true, it may seem like a stretch
But it's thoughts like this that catch
My troubled head when you're away
When I am missing you to death
When you are out there on the road
For several weeks of shows
And when you scan the radio
I hope this song will guide you home</p>

<p>They will see us waving from such great
heights
"Come down now," they'll say
But everything looks perfect from far away
"Come down now," but we'll stay . . .</p>

<p>I tried my best to leave
This all on your machine
But the persistant beat
It sounded thin upon listening
And that frankly will not fly
You will hear the shrillest highs
And lowest lows with the windows down
When this is guiding you home</p>

<p>They will see us waving from such great
heights
"Come down now," they'll say
But everything looks perfect from far away
"Come down now," but we'll stay . . .</p>

<p>I can make anybody pretty.
I can make you believe any lie.
I can make you pick a fight with somebody twice your size.
Well, I've been known to cause a few break-ups,
An' I've been known to cause a few births.
Well, I can make you new friends, or get you fired from work.</p>

<p>And since the day I left Milwaukee,
Lynchburg an' Bordeaux, France,
Been making the bars lots of big money,
An' helpin' white people dance.
I got you in trouble in high school,
But college, now that was a ball.
You had some of the best times you'll never remember with me:
Alcohol; Alcohol. </p>

<p>I got blamed at your wedding reception,
For your best man's embarrassing speech.
And also for those naked pictures of you at the beach.
I've influenced kings and world leaders,
I helped Hemingway write like he did.
And I'll bet you a drink or two, that I can make you put that lampshade on your head.</p>

<p>Cause since the day I left Milwaukee,
Lynchburg and Bordeaux, France,
I been making a fool out of folks just like you,
An' helping white people dance.
I am medicine and I am poison,
I can help you up or make you fall.
You had some of the best times you'll never remember with me:
Alcohol. </p>

<p>Yeah, since the day I left Milwaukee,
Lynchburg an' Bordeaux, France,
Been making the bars lots of big money,
(Helpin' white people dance.)
Yeah, I got you in trouble in high school,
But college, now that was a ball.
You had some of the best times you'll never remember with me:
Alcohol; Alcohol.</p>

<p>32 Flavors by Ani DiFranco</p>

<p>squint your eyes and look closer
i'm not between you and your ambition
i am a poster girl with no poster
i am thirty-two flavors and then some
and i'm beyond your peripheral vision
so you might want to turn your head
cause someday you're going to get hungry
and eat most of the words you just said</p>

<p>both my parents taught me about good will
and i have done well by their names
just the kindness i've lavished on strangers
is more than i can explain
still there's many who've turned out their porch lights
just so i would think they were not home
and hid in the dark of their windows
till i'd passed and left them alone</p>

<p>and god help you if you are an ugly girl
course too pretty is also your doom
cause everyone harbors a secret hatred
for the prettiest girl in the room
and god help you if you are a phoenix
and you dare to rise up from the ash
a thousand eyes will smolder with jealousy
while you are just flying past</p>

<p>i'm not trying to give my life meaning
by demeaning you
and i would like to state for the record
i did everything that i could do
i'm not saying that i'm a saint
i just don't want to live that way
no, i will never be a saint
but i will always say</p>

<p>squint your eyes and look closer
i'm not between you and your ambition
i am a poster girl with no poster
i am thirty-two flavors and then some
and i'm beyond your peripheral vision
so you might want to turn your head
cause someday you might find you're starving
and eating all of the words you said</p>

<p>Woah, coqui, I never thought I'd meet another Tiziano fan on these boards! I love No me lo puedo explicar and Desde manana no lo se, too! He's one of my favorite artists, and Tardes Negras will always have a special place in my heart. Lol, the story behind me and Tardes Negras is actually pretty funny/strange/sad. Truthfully, I like Sere Nere, the Italian version, a little bit better, because he sings it with so much emotion...<em>Sighs</em> You gotta love it!</p>

<p>I love 100 Years by Five for Fighting</p>

<p>and Hotel California too!</p>
