They don’t allow freshmen or sophomores to take AP’s, just honors classes, and there were no honors classes for English or Spanish in freshman year.

Let me be the one to say WOW if I had that much pressure on me freshman year I would have not made it out alive. Don’t get me wrong I was concerned about college but some of these schedules are a little demanding. Let me give you guys some advise seeing as your schedules will only get harder. Enjoy life, don’t take the college process as your only means to happiness, and find something you enjoy besides school to help get your mind away from what is a very stressful four years.

I’m a senior, but this was my freshman schedule:

English 9-Honors
Modern History 9-Honors
Latin III 9-Honors
Biology AA
Gym/Study Hall (Everyone in my school takes study hall. It’s impossible to not have at least one semester of study hall most years, b/c of req’d classes)
Senior Orchestra
Algebra II AA

Btw, Honors is an 8th and 9th grade program with just those three classes that are only given to a group of 80 students selected in the 7th grade. AA is the exact same level, just outside of the program. We switched the order of the Honors classes sometimes, always if we had a test and sometimes for other stuff, but that was the general schedule for 2nd semester. It went in some other order or 1st semester, but with the same exceptions.
