I can't access my scores. Keeps saying "login error." Anybody know what to do?

Btw, what happens if you are going to a college in the U.S. but don't get your diploma?

Btw, what happens if you are going to a college in the U.S. but don't get your diploma?

Nothing. You still have your high school diploma. The IB diploma really means nothing in the US.

Took just one test:

well, i'm pretty happy. 5s are good. i did want a 6 in english, art, and history, but i realized that what i actually put into everything makes 5s seem more fair. i probably could have done more art research and i definitely wasn't prepared with enough studying for history, but oh well :) the only real let down is the EE which i put a ton of time and effort into, but hey, i got my diploma! congrats to everyone. and wow jsn88 i'm really impressed by 45!

English A1 HL 5
Hist of the Americas HL 5
I know 5's are good but i'm not overly pleased b/c I was expecting a 6 in Hist and Northwestern University ONLY accepts credit for a 6+

ok so quick question.. what if ur ib results are lower (by three points) than ur predicteds..will a college actuuaallyy rescind ur offer ..at this level??

You must be joking right. Most colleges (at least in America) could give jack squat about IB much less a 3 point margin on your total IB score.

only had 2 tests this year
Math methods SL 7
chem 6

im not joking..thing is tht most ppl in my class r going to school in the UK so they were making suucchh a big deal bout the scores and not getting in etc etc... tht i kinda just got unnerved and had to ask...so ur suurre right?

Czech A HL: 6
English B HL: 7
German B HL: 7
History HL Europe: 6
Biology SL: 6
Maths SL : 6
Extended Essay History: A
TOK: C
+2
40:)

Well since you're in the UK, I may of said my statement with to much conviction, but I'm pretty sure elodie it won't make much difference if your prediction is slightly more than your actual score. What I would guess matters most is if your scores are good in the first place and that you actually receive your diploma.

.. im actually not in the UK.. im heading off to Harvard next year..
thank you for ur input anywayyss!

what did you get elodie????:)

I don't know what I was predicted (because I'm in the US and it doesn't matter), but I did all right I guess. I would have liked to do better and I think I could have done better, but I think the scores I got are fair. I didn't do poorly by any means. I'm quite happy about a couple scores.

well i have heard of IB scores mattering in some cases. my friend's friend got into cambridge i think, but only on the condition that she got 7s on i think both HL math and physics

Yes...because Cambridge is in the UK.

Econ SL: 6
Physics SL: 4

I was wondering....is 40 sufficient for ivy league schools????

One would assume that 40 is fine since Harvard only requires 7s on HL exams if you're planning to be in their special program to graduate in 3 years. Stanford doesn't even award credit for most IB exams. (this is quoted on their website elodie if you need further reassurance)
