The best school in Colorado is either Colorado College or Colorado School of Mines.

Arizona
University of Arizona: Probably the best academic reputation in the state. Solid academics, great funding, and good sports teams. Basketball is very big. Tucson is a medium city and has mountains all around it, and friendly people.
Arizona State University: Party school with okay academic record, but an awesome honors college. Itâs in Phoenix, which means a very large city.
Northern Arizona University: A smaller school, okay academics. Itâs in Flagstaff, so itâs chilly. Good if you like skiing, snowboarding, and camping. Really good for computer science.

Most of the opinions arenât helpful because they are just a personal opinion and everyoneâs is different. Facts about the college, what the location is like, what majors it is known for, and things like that are the useful items to talk about.

Arizona State is located in TempeâŠ

Tempe is a part of Phoenix. Are you from Arizona?

My cousin goes to University of Arizona (itâs her Junior year) and she loves it. She wants to become a director. The campus is nice also. :)

Yeah, I really like the U of A. Itâs a great school, and for a lot of majors. : )

Is that a joke? Tempe is an entirely separate cityâŠ

Didnât answer my question. I grew up in Arizona. Tempe is part of the metropolis of Phoenix.

Tempe is in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area, but that doesnât make it part of Phoenix. I dont care if you grew up in Arizona or notâŠ

dionte is right. I got this from wikipedia:

âTempe is located in the East Valley section of the Phoenix Metropolitan Area; it is bordered by Phoenix and Guadalupe on the west,â

Itâs a metropolitan part of Phoenix. Maricopa County, to be exact. And ASU has more than one campus, and if you want to get a little more specific. One is in Downtown Phoenix. So, Iâm guessing you arenât from az.

Iâm not from AZ
âŠbut I donât really care if Tempe is a part of Phoenix or not.

Iâm a VA gal!

Well, I guess youâre proof they donât teach geography in Arizona public schoolsâŠ

Sorry, Reach, I wasnât talking to you, I was talking to Dionte.I hadnât read your post when I posted.
Dionte-Excuse me? When youâre from Zona, Tempe is part of Phoenix. Ever been to Tempe? Itâs integrated. Technically part of Phoenix. And as I said before, ASU has more than one campus in Phoenix. I also attend a top-notch school, thank you very much.

Iâve spent significant time in Maricopa County, and I study geography in my free time. As I said, I dont care if you live there or not, itâs part of the metropolitan area. Temple is a city in its own right; itâs not part of Phoenix.

Lets change the subject:

Would you rather live in Virginia or Boston if you had to go to a school in that state? hehehe

I agree. Too many people are basing everything on stereotypes of a college.

Look in the Princeton Reviewâs Best Colleges book. That will give you fact.

âI agree. Too many people are basing everything on stereotypes of a college.â

Exactly. We need to hear from people who have actually been to the colleges and can describe different aspects, not just say stereotypes that everyone has heard before.
