What’s the o.O face for? Don’t several freshmen? …I sort of assumed they did as well.

haha I don’t :stuck_out_tongue: (freshman too). I hear sophomores do… but we’re close to being sophomores! only a month and like 13 days!

I get letters for my older brother for medical school and graduate school… =)

That’s humorous.

Did you take the PSAT?

I just recently started receiving mail. Apparently, as long as one possesses above a 3.0, lives in California, and takes the SAT or ACT, one will be accepted to CSU.

I’m guessing that was for trumpetgirl (about psat).

Pizza for dinner = great! esp. thin crust pizza [:

I love pizza!

I love butternut squash ravioli! it’s sooooo good

I love pizza too!

I don’t eat it too often, but when I do it’s great!!! I’m a really picky eater, and I don’t like sauce, so I get cheese pizza no sauce. It’s actually tasty ^.^

mmm pizza :] thin crust? no. deep dish? all the way. no sauce? I’ve never tried it. I’m not a picky eater.

almost sophmores! yes.

Wartsandall: Yes, I did. I did well, but I don’t think I did outstanding. My Geometry teacher said I have a 3.9 gpa. Is this why? I’m not sure.

I also got something from Columbia and Berkley, however, Washington U has been sending me pamphlets and informational letters non stop.

That’s probably the reason then. When you take the PSAT, there is an option that you can check that essentially states that you want to receive college pamphlets and information.

Ohh that’s right! I wish they didn’t all come from the same school :b

^^ it’s not fun being a picky eater… lots of things to me just taste bad :/

Congrats! At my school, we got to take the EXPLORE test (pre act) in 9th grade. actually… we had too… 99%tile, but that test is like some pre-pre easy-fied act test (and shorter). so how i’ll actually do… who knows :D

The colleges don’t see your score on the PSAT, but they’re allowed to buy your name from the college board (based on the categories you put down).

Enjoy 4 years of spam

Oh, I’m sorry…that’s quite unfortunate.

Oh…good luck with the results.

I accidentally made a face at a stranger…it was horrible!

Lovely,tcbh. Thanks.

^^Are you sure?

I thought that colleges sent pamphlets based off of one’s PSAT score.

^What do you mean?

^I thought so too. I didn’t try…I kind of bs’d it, but I did good.

My friends and I were kind of making fun of Miley C’s winky face. After school, I went to a store and, something reminded me of Miley Cyrus so, I winked. Then I realized I was looking straight at some old guy when I winked and he was smiling at me! Ewww…embarassing blushes This is the face… http://images.starpulse.com/pictures/2007/09/21/previews/Miley%20Cyrus-CSH-028751.jpg

Yeah, they can’t see your score. 90% of the mail I received was from places I had never heard of and had no intention of researching. So with 2-4 pieces of mail a day, I received an interesting letter about once a week . And that continued for most of 3 years. I got more emails, but those are easier to dispose of in bulk, and you can always change your email address (as I did).

^My guidance counselors lie.

^^^That’s humorous.

^^I’ll continue to wait then. Thanks for the clarification.

lol trumpetgrl gets CC addiction and annoying college spam started early

Haha! We were discussing ways of disposing of those letters without risking ID theft:

 1. Tear your name off every place it appears*, and dump the rest of the paper out. (my method)
 2. Shred every paper. ()
 3. Burn the lot (AP Chem’s way ;))

Our AP Chem class is a bunch of pyromaniacs.

And they *insist on putting your name in the print–sooner or later, you have to read those things. >:[
