^Congratulations!

The Phantom of the Opera is awesome.
Stage and movie.

I also dislike roller coasters. Like, I want to like them, but I went on the one at California Adventure and I had a headache after and it kinda ruined the day.
Even the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is pushing it, but that might have been because it was like the first ride we went on in the morning and I didn’t warm up to it yet.

Hm. I love roller coasters, but probably only because I’ve grown up near the best Six Flags in the world.

I thought Kingda Ka was kind of uncomfortable because of the fact that I couldn’t really breathe properly. And the lines are always ridiculous. Nitro and El Toro remain my favorite. Nitro at night especially.

I want to go to Cedar Point in Ohio this summer, unplanned. That would be awesome. Either there or Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey.

At one amusement park, the seat belt/the large black thing that protects you from falling was loose, so two people fell from the rollercoaster when it was upside down. They crashed into the concrete and …

What is the basis of beauty and the aesthetic experience? From an evolutionary standpoint, is it a remnant of our animal instincts determining the aesthetics of things/places that provide us shelter, food, safety, and whatever else is needed for survival? If so, how has the aesthetic experience transcended the utilitarian to the abstract, such as with modern/postmodern art? Is it an evolutionary accident? Simply the byproduct of a being blessed with sentience and incredible intellect, but yet still inherently the slave of the basal desires of the flesh? Probably. But how do intellectual themes represented by, or even being the basis of art play into all this? Very interesting indeed.

^^jerry, you have just deepened my fear of roller coasters :(

That sounds depressing.

I’m sad that the person who I’ve been crushing on, has found someone who is more attractive, more intelligent, outgoing, mature, and spontaneous than I am:( What do I do, to forget about the person?

Yesterday I took a Wartegg Test (personality test), a test so open-ended that may give you food for though or a moment’s amusement. There were a six divisions of the card and I am to draw incorporating the shape.

Circle - I drew a pocket watch.
-The drawing suppose to represent my sense of self.

Corner square - I drew a turtle, with the square being its head.
-Square should be an architectural unit. My drawing should represents my relationship with my home. (I don’t have a pet turtle btw)

Wavy Line - I drew a flower under the sun
-motif that has something to do with my emotional life. I was supposed to draw something relating to water according to the Wartegg’s test expectations.

cut off corner - I drew a bird’s head.
-My drawing is suppose to be something relating to my friends. (I don’t have a pet bird)

two lines - I drew a cat with an emoticon: T_T
-The two lines stand for the inescapable dualisms of the universe, especially the duality of sex. (I’m so off on this drawing)

blank space (I can draw anything) - giant lizard monster terrorizing a building. It’s grabbing this one guy as it breathes fire on the building, so the building is on fire. Apparently, the lizard guy is also burning the guy it is holding since the guy’s head was in the way. Another guy jumps off the building to escape his death.
-The drawing in the blank space should reveal my whole life.

^That’s intriguing. Can you provide us with the link?

Sorry, but I don’t have the link to begin with because I took the Wartegg test in my psychology class and I couldn’t find it through google search.

Are you referring to that link?

^Looks like a fun test, though I wouldn’t think much of the results. The Myers-Briggs personality test is a good one though, imo.

^I’ve taken that before. I typically receive INTJ.

It’s weird when teachers talk about things that cross the typical student-teacher boundary. One of my teachers just told me about something in her life that’s crazy personal, to make me feel like I can talk to her about anything, I guess. I appreciate the trust and the sentiment behind the act, but now I get distracted in class a lot because I’ll be thinking about what she told me.

Alsoooo, I got INFJ.
It’s funny because even though it’s supposed to be rare, a lot of people on the interwebz had it when I googled it. I feel like there’s a pretty strong correlation.

@Wartsandall
That one is a different version from what I have, but I guess you can still draw whatever you want with your imagination.

I can’t wait until summer…rawr.

I’m an INFP.

And yeah, summer please Though I’ll be very busy.
