social justice/morality
honors english 3
honors precalc
honors physics
ap us history
ap french

This is mine for junior year, but I've already been accepted to college so I'm not sure if you'd like to count this as a junior schedule.

IB English III
IB American History
PIB French III
Research V
Discrete Math/Graph Theory
HL IB Physics (not taking test)
Differential Equations/Matrix Theory
Abstract Algebra (but it's independent study and I have a good chance of not getting it done on time)
Hardcore NetHack-Gaming (independent study)

Hi, I'm a Sophmore. Here is my schedule for both Sophmore and Junior year what do you think too hard. Too easy? Tell me please.
Sophomore:
AP Art History
Debate
AP Biology
Analytical Techniques Biology(my school has a rule that you can not take an AP Science w/o a seperate period for the lab)
AP World History
Algebra II Honors
Pre-AP World Literature
Art Foun. (required)
Junior:
AP Chemistry
A/T Chemisty
Honors Precal
Debate
AP American History
AP Comp. Gov.
AP English Lang. & Comp
Word Processing I & II (required)

So what do you think?

Alamode, my HS is sort of like that... Compared to everyone else's on here, it's slow. No one is supposed to take Calculus until senior year, and even then, they had to have taken Algebra in eighth grade (barely anyone does). I'm taking Calc junior year, though, because I doubled up on Geometry and Algebra 2 freshman year--I also wanted to skip Pre-Calc, but my A2 teacher wouldn't let me =-

Here's my junior schedule:
AP US History
US Humanities
AP Chemistry
German 3
AP Calc AB
AP Biology
AP Physics B
Self-studying AP Environmental Science and Calc BC

I hope you aren't taking AP's to try to make your transcript look good. Rather you should take classes at the AP level that you enjoy. Otherwise, your schedule looks ok. History AP's are really hard and require a massive amount of reading and writing. Don't be surprised if you spend 10-15 hours per class outside of school working on AP World History or AP U.S. History. It's really tough.

Your soph. year looks work-intensive. AP Art History, AP Bio, and AP World History are all going to require alot of reading....more than you could imagine. Whatever you do, don't get caught behind in any AP class.

Just warning you......

Heres my schedule for this year (I'm currently a junior)
AP Biology
AP U.S. History
Chemistry H
Language Arts 11 H
Human Anatomy
Advanced Anatomy
Precalculus
College Finance

^^ That 10-15 hours is very extereme. I have an hour. at the most two hours of HW in AP U.S. per night.

Well I certainly say that the amount of Homework I do gennerally correlates between 2-3 hours but I really don't do all the "recommended reading". I was also hit with a serious case of Senoritis third grading period and went from an A to an F in Bio. Ah, well at least I'm only a sophmore. I have three semesters to raise my now sinking GPA.

Haha, I was going to say your schedule looks eerily similar to mine until I realized that we're going to the same school. =P. I think you know who I am. =)

EDIT: As for our math track, it goes like this:

Algebra I
Geometry
(Honors) Algebra II
PreCalc
Calc AB
Calc BC
Differential Equations

An A in Honors Alg II, which covers trig, will let you skip PreCalc. About 10ish freshmen each year start math at that level, which makes the track HonAlgII, Calc AB, Calc BC, Differential Equations.

Otherwise, it depends where you start.

Really, what state are you In?

our math track is like this:

Algebra I
Geometry
Algebra II
Math Analysis (Trig/Precalc)
AP Calculus AB
AP Calculus BC
AP Statistics

u can only get to stats if u take the two-year program, which is math analysis over the summer as a sophomore.

ours is similar to chickenboi8008's...

Alg I
Geometry
Alg II
Math Analysis
AP Calclulus AB/BC (separate classes, BC coveres AB and BC in one year)
AP Statistics

I'm at a private catholic school in California, so I guess we have a little more leeway.

AP Calc AB
AP Chemistry
AP US History
Spanish 4H
English 11H
College/Career Visions [mandatory elective]
Peer Tutoring

I feel like I should add another AP or honors, but I'm not in the mood for doubling up. I'm pretty envious of you guys. At my school we have a dozen pre-requisites for every upper level class and only 13 APs.

Well our school system has a CRAZY math program. We seem to like to put kids in math classes that r way to hard for them. There are some kids in our school that took algera I in the 6th grade!

Algebra I
Geometry
Algebra II
Pre-Calc. (a lot of people take AP Stat @ the same time)
APCalc. AB & BC
Calculus III

So many juniors are taking Calc AB or Calc BC..
i'm going to be in Pre Calc honors my junior year
is this a big disadvantage?

actually no! u see i was one of the people screwed in middle school, and i am doing that next year. yes it is annoying when it comes to class rank, but just make sure to take challenging courses in other areas. if u r really passionit about math you can always take it over the summer and start Calc. w/ everyone else.

AP calc BC
AP CHEM
APUSH
AP LANG
Spanish 2 <----- Loooooooooooooooooooooools
AP music theory

APUSH
AP Physics B
AP Spanish Lang
PreCalc (H) (BC next year)
English III (No honors or AP's offered until Senior Year)
Humanities (Art Credit Needed) / World Religions (Interesting Subject)
Religion III (Catholic)

Taking AP Euro this year, how does it compare to APUSH?

Our Math track

Algebra I
Geometry
PreCalc/Algebra II
AP Calc BC (AB not offered) (About 200/400 people in school get to this)
Multivariable Calc / Discrete Math (About 25/400 people get to this)
Differential Equations / Linear Algebra (Only about 5/400 people get to this)
