Haha...says you. Enjoy Calc II.

Ahh...yes but my friend, Mr. PHD in mathmatics is already helping me with that one. ;)

ilovecalifornia - I'm in a rush because I don't want to wait an extra year to transfer. If I take less than 20 units a semester, I'll have to wait until the fall of 08' to apply. I don't want to be stuck at a CC for 2.5 years and be 21 years old by the time I get to finally transfer to a UC.

brand_182 - Although I'm taking micro and macro in the same semester, I'm not taking them at the same time. I'm taking the 8 week courses, so after micro econ is done, I will be taking macro economics.

iwanatransfer - I think the type of classes taken rather than the number of units someone is taking is a better indicator of how tough their courseload is. Although I'm planning on taking 23 units, half of the classes I'm taking are very easy. I've talked to many people who have taken those classes with the same profs, and they have told me that they're easy A courses that require little effort, CA30 Film Appr. especially. The only classes I'll have to worry about are Calculus, Stats, and micro economics.

johnnzen - Yeah, i'm planning to transfer in 3 semesters instead of 4. I would take winter intercession classes, but the CC I will be attending does not offer winter intercession courses. I know of another CC that does offer winter intercession, but they do not offer the courses I intend on taking. Summer school is out of the question for me (at least for next summer) because I will be in Canada for much of July for my cousin's wedding. So that leaves me no choice but to take 20+ units/semester.

you guys are going to laugh, but Fall sem was pretty much my last sem. I have all by pre-reqs and igetc done by fall. im only taking a spring sem so i dont have any gaps in my education.

lol Business, doens't my schedule look all over the place?

I'm trying to get into NYU / UMich so I'm taking as many credits possible so that my HS record won't matter much.

The place where I am now basically makes me want to go home and just wrist; so I turn that urge into studying time. That's kinda why I don't wanna be here for more than 1 year.

wannabetransfer:

In that case, you should spread out your schedule with online classes.

Check:
http://www.smconline.org/index.real?action=Catalog

and

and

CA community colleges have year round online classes for students who cannot physically be at the college. The only thing you probably won't be able to find is higher level courses, and lab courses (which is only a couple anyways).

With online classes, you can knock out your english, econ, history, and other requirements easily.
