Hey everyone! I’m collecting data on IU’s scholarships for future students. Post them all - from the automatic achievement ones to the selective scholarships that you had to apply for! Please provide your GPA, best test score, and for the selective ones, any tips you think might be helpful.
I’ll start. I got a $3000/yr scholarship with a 3.6 GPA and a 36 ACT. No SSA, unfortunately.
$11,000/yr Dean’s Scholarship, $6000/yr Hutton Honors College Scholarship, Direct Admit to Kelley with a 4.0 GPA (9 honors courses and 5 APs in total for 4 years in HS) and 33 ACT superscored (34 E, 34 M, 33 R, 30 S, 11 W)
I will be declining these scholarship offers since I will be attending Northwestern in the fall, but hopefully someone else will put this money into good use.
I got $6,000/yr from the Provost’s Scholarship, $6,000/yr from Hudson and Holland, $1,000/yr from Hutton Honors College, and the Herbert Presidential Scholarship(will receive details on the award in 2 weeks). 4.42 Weighted GPA, 31 ACT, solid ec’s. Allow yourself enough time to write the SSA essays but get the app in as soon as possible.
Still waiting to hear on ND, but will most likely be attending IU in the fall:)
@BNlbruh Actually I got the maximum for Provost Scholarship which is 8000 a year in state. Sorry, I got a presidential scholarship from a different college, so I confused them. I didn’t get the presidential from IU. To answer your question, no it isn’t the Herbert scholarship.
In state applied before Nov 1st:
3.74 WGPA/3.63 UWGPA
1800 SAT
$0
I’m guessing I got nothing because my GPA wasn’t above a 3.8W. When I applied I had only taken 1 AP and 1 Honors course so my GPA wasn’t very “inflated” if you will.
