maroban did u get any airtime for Idol thats pretty cool

no i didnt! the only airtime that they gave before the top 36 were to people that made it INTO the top 36 or people that got really close. the group that i had to sing with was horrible and couldnt read music at all, so i mean, it did save me some humiliation, but the experience was well worth it. im thinking of trying again this summer up in new york, since i think ill make it further this time.

that is pretty cool with American Idol. W&M has a powerhouse MUN team, Outstanding Delegation at Worlds in 2004 and 2005, trying to make it 3 in a row in Beijing this spring... hope you continue [... unless you don't want to, lol]

yeah, i am continuing with MUN... except, when i went to WMHSMUN last year (william/mary's MUN conference for high schools), i got screwed over by the chair, since he just didnt like me and never called on me... but, that was just one guy. MUN is fun.

Great essay. I wrote it about a conversation I had with some friends in Costa Rica. Its basically a dialogue describing my competitive nature, as well as my passion for politics and the New York Yankees. But most importantly, it was quite humorous.

My optional essay was a sports column that I wrote for the newspaper.

Recommendation from my soccer coach (also an assistant principal)
Recommendation from my English teacher, which was written specifically about a research paper I did on the Canterbury Tales.
