Bring A Watch

My first time around I brought 1 of those timers that sit on your desk...and took out the alarm, but the proctor was an ******* and told me it wasn't allowed even though it clearly states that it is as long as it doesn't beep or make any sounds. It sorta made me mad since I was used to practicing tests / sections timing myself with it. :-

to good to go away...

BUMP

which will help more? red bull or gluscose?

supposedly red bull stimulate by more vitamine and gluscose directly gives boost to the brain??

Bring your money if you're doing standby.

Soooo obvious, but extremely important. I went through hell last June taking the Sat I. Got to the testing site like an hour early, and I was doing last mintue cramming with the blue book, waiting for proctors to arrive so I could find out if I could take the test. The minute cars started showing up, I jumped up...and was stricken with the horrible realization that I had forgotten my money. Had my calculator, pencils, snacks, all that crap...but only like 2 bucks in my purse. I spent like 15 minutes on the phone calling everyone I could think of in the area (the test site was an hour away from where I lived) and all the students were starting to show up, and I was practically hyperventilating and leaving a million messages on people's phones that went, " Omigod, I'm so stupid pickupthephone i needmoneynownownow damnitimsostupid..."

But luckily, this lovely lovely lady listening behind me offered to lend me 80 dollars 10 minutes before the test. Just like that. I'd never met her before in my life. One of the nicest things that's happened to me in a while. It caught me so offguard, but I ended up getting to take the test. I was so frazzled that I totally messed up my essay, but it went well overall.

Also, I highly reccomend bananas and coffee too. I never take a test without them. During the test, I drink bottled water through a straw...weird, yeah, but it helps me concentrate for some reason. Chew gum, but only if you can do it quietly without ****ing off the guy next to you. If the chair you're sitting on squeaks or wobbles, immediately ask to switch places. Don't bring anything sticky to eat. Hard candy is nice.

bump! for the last minute crammers. =]
