automath- no seriously, you gonna get raped if you keep that schedule

History 1B
GE Cluster 60B

Just 15 units again, but I need to look for a job for next quarter...

Isn't Scandanavian 50w the second easiest WII ?

Chem 14B
Math 3B
Vietnamese 50E
Anthro 9

Has anyone heard of Professor Pravda-Starov? He's one of the math professors for 3B (other is Popa--at 8am, ouch!)...but I can't find anything on him.

ls 3

Isn't Scandanavian 50w the second easiest WII ?

that's why I'm taking it duh

so not take another class?

I might be in your class! Apparently, he was a professor at Cal, and then he came here. I asked a Cal friend and they don't have the equivalent of Bruinwalk, and the guy's not on ratemyprofessors.

I did find his homepage, though. He has a glamour shot on it -- not bad. But then again, Lavelle's page on Bwalk looks like 10x better than the real thing.

Ahh, so he's a professor from Cal? Wow, I hope he's not going to be too hardcore :P

English 4HW
Physics 1B
Math 32B

Can anyone give me insight on English 4HW? Is it significantly harder than regular 4W or only slightly so?

Chem 20B
Chem 20L
Stats 10
Classics 20

How does that schedule look?

Stats 10 with Davis?
Classics 20 with whom?

Math 32A
Com Sci 32
Physics 1A
English Comp 3

English composition 3 should be fine. I think Boelter can chime in about the other stuff...

To the other poster: why are you taking English 4HW? Your schedule looks like an engineer's and there is no honors program? Was this the only class that would fit?

Actually, I'm undeclared in L&S, although I guess it seems like an engineering path. I'm leaning applied math, or something related to that. I can, in theory, fit other classes, but I need to take an honors class at sometime or another, and I've heard of people taking 4HW. Not sure about the difficulty level of that, though -- hence my question.

mme-lin, stats 10 with davis and classics 20 with goldberg. What do you think?

As long as you don't have Baugh for chem 20B , you're fine. I had Goldberg for Classics 10 (Greek, not Roman) and he was pretty good. If you want an A in his class though, you have to put a a good amount of effort into it. Oh and if you have Pang for 20L, I feel sorry for you.

I thought Baugh wasn't that bad. I mean, you didn't even have to go to lecture.

Anyways, turns out that I'll be some north campus person for the winter quarter.

Hopefully, I can get
German 122 or History 11B
Chem 113a
Ethnomusicology 25 or Classics 20
Eng Comp 3

I'm really nervous. I've never taken a non math/science course here.

Econ 101
Econ 41
Management 1B

btw I don't know where to find the date that I can register
new transfer:( any help?

Dear moldau,

ethnomusicology and music history courses are pretty chill and fun. I love music history; I wanted to pursue a minor at one point.

Dear Drastic,

Friends have told me that Stats 10 with Davis is the only way to go amongst the stats profs!
